I didn’t know that was out. I was kinda hoping it would go away with the departure of the last council.

The status quo itself is created by those with the biggest, loudest, most convinced-they-are-righteous voices.
No coincidence that those are the same voices trying to convince us to use LLMs.

I do sometimes miss the feeling of satisfaction from personally pressing block on a toad like Vance.

Hence the dark place I'm in politically at the moment. Felt like we were in a good place at one point on climate where action was being taken (inadequate but a start) & politicians took it seriously. Now…? We're backsliding & our alleged opposition is either as bad on it or worse than our govt.

"Sure sounds like you're letting Carney off the hook…"
Don't know what to tell you, man. I'm in a pretty dark place politically & I see zero evidence of a Canadian left movement emerging that's any less eager to make shitty neoliberal compromises than Carney's Liberals. See: SaskNDP.

Nope. Totally didn't get to it. Thing is, I didn't watch that part of the meeting & didn't know how the vote turned out until just now. So my only Q would've been, "So… wha happe3n3d?"
