Sorry, lesbian. I really shouldn't try to post without my glasses.

I'm not saying anything about stopping Trump. I'm saying that the National Guard have a right not to obey an order to commit a crime.

I don't see the difference. They are being called up to assist in the commission of a crime. There's no different.

It was clear well before the last election that the Republicans were going to set up a dictatorship. There was even a long detailed and widely published plan about how they were going to go about it.

Are you saying that Trump could call up the National Guard to rob a bank if he wanted and they couldn't refuse to do it?

You don't impeach dictators.

Of course not. I'm saying that the National Guard would have a duty to not respond to the call.

But then again, how would it sound if they were called out to provide logistical support for robbing a bank?

I'm pretty sure the President can not call out the National Guard in order to break the law. For example if a President called out the National Guard to rob a bank they would be duty bound to refuse. Same thing if they are called to assist the kidnapping people without due process.

I was about to tell you off for promoting violence.
Then I realised you meant violence against billionaires.

I'm not sure America has survived this. Due process gone, separation of powers gone. Is it still the same country? What is the basis for the authority of any federal body?

The mainstream media would report that as "Trump outlines bold new strategy"

Yes. My painting of my son is very imperfect, but everyone who knows him agrees that it captures him perfectly.

He was strangely precise about the effect he believed he had on the election.

This kind of reminds me of when my kids were very young and in the midst of a tantrum would threaten to tear the heads off their teddy bears. I'm happy to report that all teddy bears still have heads intact.

I'm very used to 2 high agency men going at it phallocentrically, but I have doubts about either of those men's agency and as for their phallus...

I'm old enough to remember when conservatives opposed nationalising industries.

It's very safe to say I will never resort to AI or knowingly have anything to do with AI art of any kind. I think it's a dismal fate that, now that I have time to write, I have to compete with rubbish churned out by machines.
