There's "know" and there's "know". I heard him in an interview once say that when he started SpaceX he read a bunch of rocket science books. I believe he probably looked through some books and read some bits. But that's different from being able to do the calculations to do something practical.

In Australia we have 240V power and my microwave is 900W. Just had a quick look and news ones range 700-2100W.

Cross-eye method works well for this one. Cross your eyes until the images merge together. The differences "shimmer". Been using this to solve spot-the-difference puzzles since I was a kid.

Microsoft kinda did do that, but the opposite. WSL - Windows Subsystem for Linux. It's a Linux kernel running in Windows. MS want developers to stay using Windows on their dev machine while developing web applications that will run on Linux in the cloud.

I got into Linux 11 years ago when I had to use it for uni. I like it, but I also like Windows. I like both. It's okay to like both. I'd probably also like MacOS if I used it regularly. But yeah, Linux bros (not all) can be toxic and it puts me off wanting to be part of that community.

Being "smart" and having a lot of scientific knowledge, doesn't necessarily make someone a good critical thinker.

I love creative, simple site like this. Bring back to old web. Also, interesting to think about how the user's screen/monitor will affect the blue vs green.
