The slightly unusual right shift placement (to accommodate the arrows which wouldn't fit onto the wood otherwise) turns out to have been a recipe for rsi. Making the left thumb key a shift seems to solve it though. Now pretty happy with it and the curved layout seems to work well.

I've not come across Amber Alps before. Are they similar to the orange tactile?

Thanks. I seem to be on a bit of a keyboard building spree at the moment. Trying out a few designs before I commit to using up my small supply of blue alps on one... they really are lovely to type on.

And who knows, maybe my editor will like this?

Thanks, that's definitely the right search term. Now just need to find one my eldest can afford. The one they have is now way too small for them (and we're not quite sure how we came to posses it - possibly came from a great aunt).

I am now picturing the 20 year school reunion. David and Jane both work in insurance. Arthur is the pope. Sarah is still with Mark, although no one understands why.

It's almost as if renaming themselves from Hermes didn't solve any of their actual problems.

What worked for me was not "doing exercise". Instead I walked/cycled to work, the shops etc instead of using public transport or driving. Worked well for decades... until I started working from home. On reflection, this was neither unhinged or whimsical. It was really effective though.

I'm not sure I'd class the killer murder moth that absolutely no one forms a romantic attachment to as a love interest.

I don't know who made that decision, but even as a freshly-minted junior developer I could see that it was insane. Ignoring all the other complexity this introduced, I'll leave you to ponder how things worked on a long day, when 01:00 to 01:30 occurred twice in local time. 2/2

I've decided that I support the concept.

I have received actual real money in exchange for words that I conjured out of nothing for free.
