A family-friendly TTRPG about humans on an alien world. When your anti-grav flyer has a check engine light on and there are no spare parts you build sailing ships.

A player character could pretend to be still asleep right in front of the door so that a guard might trip over them upon entering. The feigned sleep could keep them from outright retaliation if it didn't work. Helps to prevent clonking a helping friend over the head with broken shackles in rescue.

I agree with you I really do wish that all I had to do was create.

I started when I retired from teaching about 10 years ago. I'm slowing down. Now, I set a goal of one new adventure or major supplement per month. I am trying harder to put myself out and market more. In truth, I find marketing the least fun part of it all.

I have created the sci-fi /medieval world of Planet Archipelago. Humans on an alien world. 160+ game titles and 5 novels have been written, along with a few folk songs, and a hundred maps of various areas. Lots of illustrations, plus religion and culture for both humans and native aliens.

Launch a line of miniatures and have a wider array of paperback material. I currently have more than 160 titles but only a half dozen in paperback form.

Literacy is part of the problem. If you can't, or will not read, you are part of the problem.

I'm sorry if the adventure I wrote got your favorite character killed.

As a retired humanities instructor this is so absolutely true. Learn something new every day.

I like a good plan with enough world-building done to provide a workable stand-alone if the players go off on a tangent that was not anticipated.
