We play a TTRPG to have fun, and having our character die is not fun. Yet without the excitement of the risk of our character's death, the game becomes boring. If every risk is anticipated and planned for, the game is boring. To keep the game exciting, players must KNOW that their character can die.

The "white pillars" are two large sea geysers that mark a small entrance into the Sea of Rocks. A submerged impact crater with a shallow rocky rim that contains a vast area of floating pumice rock above deep water. These rocks rotate with Coriolis forces around a mysterious center point. #ttrpgs
