My kitchen contains MSG, guar gum, food colorings, corn syrup, and citric and malic acid. People really underestimate the "weird and wonderful chemicals" available to home cooks nowadays.

Even more than that, it exposes the idea that these people don't THINK about their positions, they simply turn base emotions into public policy.

Even if there were no bad faith conspiracy politics involved, it's still a question worth answering. If it was a lab leak, what security measures should be improved? What research is more dangerous than previously understood?
Understanding its origin is step one to stopping the next one.

If only we had some sort of process we could apply to reduce these "errors" of punishing innocent people. I bet if we put our heads together we could come up with something

I've lived in a medium sized city with good biking infrastructure (for the US) for 20 years and I can't remember ever being yelled at by a cyclist.
I have been yelled at by drivers while on my bike, though.

To be fair, over the past year or so we've been witness to a US paramilitary group committing every crime asked of them without blinking (ICE) and a foreign military we support committing continuous war crimes without blinking (IDF). Counterexamples are....

If the league doesn't like ties, go back to sudden death and just give the home team the ball in OT. That way nobody can blame the coin flip. And the "unfairness" will even out over the course of the season.

Not just "4 games remaining", but he's only played in 9 games, (and in two of those he played a total of 4 drives). His 38.3 Y/G is more than any of Grogan's seasons (33.7, 28.4, 23.1) and pretty close to Newton's (39.5).

Anyone who knows who Jack Dorsey is and cares what he thinks would know that he loudly left Bluesky more than six months ago and urged people to stay on X. I don't think people are going in the other direction because they like him.
