We need a revolutionary, visionary, aspirational left that isn't a personality cult and is more interested with real problems than appearances and PR. We need faith that stepping up for unpopular causes (migration, trans rights, etc) can change public perceptions of them rather than be a liability.

We could undo this!
We know how, it's not complicated.
If you want more oil paintings, oil painters need to be subsidized.
Rinse and repeat for every medium.
You want art?

Why do some places still have their traditional artisans making their traditional arts and we don't?
Because those places bothered to make sure their traditional artists could MAKE ENOUGH TO EAT
AND WE DID NOT.

Issuu turns PDFs and other file types into digital Flipbooks and shareable content types. Upload a document, watch it transform, and enhance it with interactive features like Videos and Links.

If you're in the US or Canada, FaxZero lets you send short faxes for free from your computer, or longer faxes at a cheap per-page rate. Great for when you need to interact with a piece of technology which is mostly kept relevant via being named specifically in several decades-old laws.

Does this mean that if I employ proper etiquette, I, too, can rise to be the CEO of a company that decides who lives and dies? Is it that I’m just uncouth?

8) There are, in short, things to say about medieval violence that are revealing and interesting. Here's a good book to read! You work through the medieval articles and then follow the footnotes, you'll be in good shape: www.bloomsbury.com/us/darker-an...

Hello I was here back when invitation codes were required and I appreciated the extra work you put in to warning the rest of us about scam accounts and such.

I was thinking the same thing; nowadays fantasy is so broad and multi-faceted! By all means, read widely in other genres, but this feels like advice that meant more sense several decades ago.
