This isn’t the best headline. People know how reliable planes are but you can’t tell it’s the same with the FAA having budget issues. Take-off followed by landings are statistically the most dangerous (relatively speaking) parts of the flight. Exactly where the FAA is involved

Oh that’s hilarious. Literally the one thing joke Kennedy had a rational stance on (healthy food)

I think it’s the fact that people have been doing social security as a job and are not raising alarm bells indicates it’s not a big deal. Just because it doesn’t look right to you doesn’t mean it’s nefarious. You’re just not informed

What do yo follow to track immediate impact of these tariffs? Surely they are latent and I know large corporations have stock piled for this situation. Are there any transient precursors?

Exactly what someone who scripted the NFL would say.

I do know what happened and it’s really scary. But this was one of the primary democratic messages : “Trump won’t respect the rules and the law”. He’s doing exactly as they said. Yet a record number of people still voted for him…

No one cares about this stuff (unless you’re really into politics). Go on Fox News and talk about how trumps polices resulted in egg prices are going up. Heck even if they aren’t blame it on him.

Ugh stop this. LEDs use 90% less energy than incandescent and saved consumers $14.7B in 2018 alone... This is like complaining about vaccines making you feel sick. It helps no one. www.energy.gov/eere/ssl/led...

This is what they should be doing every day. They should go in grocery stores with a camera crew in Kentucky and talk about how high the prices are. Every. Single. Day

Unfortunately no one cares

Last I checked congestion pricing affects traffic entering NYC not central Jersey..

This is probably correct but I’d like to know how they polled folks in that age range. Most have cells phones, not land lines and don’t live in the same area code as we used to. Plus response bias is really prevalent now.

Wrong it saw a 7.5% decrease… nyc.streetsblog.org/2025/01/13/i...
