Yes. And this is a deliberate strategy. "A lie told and stuck to is as good as the truth." It's not. They flood the zone with rapid multiple lies, outrage bombs, then argue it's free speech. They feel entitled to lie.

Apologies. I didn't mean you specifically. Votes for congressional Rs (state and fed) have resulted in dissemination of false information, hate speech, an EO by Trump, and state laws stripping trans people of their fair housing and employment rights. I wonder if gay Rs don't see this as a threat.

This is the better way to state a perspective. I will gladly pay my share of taxes so my community can have libraries, shelters, roads, and schools. Gladly donate what I can. I was a nurse, so I know not everyone is able. The republican lies and cruelty don't cut it for me so the rich can eat cake.

They can never achieve that because it's a lie in action. Among the entire population, MAGA has never been more than 20%. Even so, declines in perception of prejudice toward nonwhite races are driven by republicans - they really work at it without shame.

When Obama was elected twice, I naively thought our country was doing better. When Trump was in, I realized the backlash had come and was very afraid for all people of color. This has always been true in parts of the south. I know my fear for you but can not imagine yours. It's all so wrong.
