Spoiler alert, but in the end he learns how to be an officer, a gentleman and the recipe for a B-Boy Bouillabaisse.

It’s pro-military, but still has a surprising amount in common with Full Metal Jacket, which I guess everyone has known for decades, but this evening I am shocked by the discovery.
Also Richard Gere throughout the film looks like an amalgam of all three Beastie Boys in their pomp, which is weird.

Ah that’s sad news.

Yes, amazing – I really like the more pared back arrangements on this one. (Apologies for the late reply, been offline for 24 hrs.)

I’m spending a small fortune on new music but I see the odd list like this that makes me realise there’s a ton out there I’d still like to check out. Still haven’t picked up the new Mogwai for example and it’s been out a while now. Can’t get hold of the Djrum album at the moment either!

Guessing you will like it, based on your pinned albums of 2024 list!

It came out last year but I think the expanded version is a new release.
Anyway, highly recommended if you haven’t already heard it. #vinyl #nowplaying

I saw us tanked there as well, but that one was 2000s with Gus Poyet in midfield. FA Cup I think. Also remember the league cup home game at Prenton Park with Gazza playing… probably 91 or 92?

Amazing player. I was lucky enough to see Spurs v Man U in the league at Wembley when Tottenham played there for a season. He was incredible (in fact he whole front 4 – Alli, Son, Kane, Eriksen) were a joy to watch that evening.
