It's worth considering an air cooler. They do a better job than a fan, but don't require the same levl of investment and space as air conditioning

Must say, the pictures also look very like the language labs where we used to sit in our own little booths, ecoutez-ing and repetez-ing. Except the lab only fitted half the class, so the rest of us had a rather cramped lesson in the store room or a nearby cloakroom

You're assuming the institution is using Canvas, which is fine if they're for internal use, but alternatives to Blackboard Ally would make them more widely applicable

Apparently, a papal decree by Nicholas I (858–867 CE) said that every church must display the emblem of St Peter, which was the cock, the symbol of vigilance. This one must have been an early forerunner of those.
