Like, America could have vaporized a remote military target as a warning/demonstration. We didn't have to go right into densely populated areas!

At a minimum, writing about this stuff means I can get some of it wiped off the face of the internet. This article led to: * 72 advertiser accounts and 663 ads deleted by Meta * 1 app deleted by Google (and another hopefully on the way) * 4 apps deleted by Apple indicator.media/p/ai-nudifie...

I remember the carrier groups going at full steam to the Red Sea and Cyprus to launch defensive sorties to make sure no Iranian cruise missiles made it over Iraq and Jordan.

After being starved for twenty hours and then fed two pieces of bread, detainees got fed up. According to this article they pushed an interior wall down. If this facility was just reopened how come it's so flimsy that they could do that? Safety inspections are needed now. www.nj.com/essex/2025/0...

The only good thing about him is there's a non zero chance at any given moment he might do something great that Schumer, for example, would absolutely never do. Is it worth all the fascism? Absolutely not, but it does keep a person on their toes

Most politicians are cowards, it's part of the job. But as far as that goes they are reading polls where people are still responding to "what Trump described his immigration policy as" and meanwhile "the fucked up shit they are actually doing" is (to) slowly creeping into poll responses.

There appears to be a real split between support for what he describes as his policies and support for what his administration is actually doing. As people slowly realize it's the latter that matters to their neighbors and coworkers it will continue to decline.

German here. They didn't explain anything. They were silent until they died. Their children often asked too late or did not get a true answer. My grandfathers were soldiers and survived. I know nothing about what they did. Americans will be silent too in the future.

It's hard for me to tell because I'm in a Bluesky bubble, but I feel like these guys are high on their own supply and seriously overestimate how good this makes them look. Like word has gotten out, these raids are bullshit and not what people voted for.

This makes no sense. Before Bluesky blew up a bit there was definitely more of a constant shitposting vibe, feeling sad we've lost that somewhat, that makes some sense. Going to Twitter over it is nonsensical.
