It sucks that there isn’t one company that would use existing profits to just keep the smaller phones running.
I tried to plan a version with Pi Zero to put together a super tiny e-ink phone and the 5G head for it costs more than most 5G phones you get today

passive scraping will cost you the $7 in which case it's cheaper to just run it on a Droplet on DO / VM on Hetzner/linode etc.

There's obvious considerations of the app
- being written in Go
- a very light scrape request with a 30 sec timeout
So your mileage might vary but good to know that you can use it for reactive scraping.
