Just finished #ClairObscur Expedition 33. What an incredible game: well written, good combat and itemization balance, beautiful art direction, stellar voice acting and some of the best animation work I’ve seen. The soundtrack is a big standout and is going to stick with me for a long time. #goty

I thought the Chromatic Jar was a difficult encounter. The vollyball minigame in Clair Obscur is next level. It took me almost an hour and a half to beat and I almost gave up 💀, until it finally clicked. It's unintuitive for sure.

I'm trying the Asus ZenBook S 14. I immediately installed @cachyos.org on it. The 2.8k OLED is gorgeous, the speakers are great for this form factor. The keyboard is a bit mushy but usable. I installed @rust-lang.org and my @bevyengine.org game compiles and runs on the device. Will try gaming next!

Turns out I lost eight hours of progress in #ClairObscur because #Proton Experimental had a bug that overwrote my Steam Cloud saves with... nothing. I lost permanent progress in other games as well. Painful and makes me hesitant to use Experimental again. 😭 Source: www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/...

I am hyperfixating on switching all my devices to Linux. Unfortunately I still haven't found a good replacement for my laptop. I'm using a MacBook Pro M1 Max from four years ago. It's still really performant. Apple hasn't made a design refresh yet so the design, speakers and screen are still great.

I switched my PC from Windows 11 to CachyOS (based on Arch). It’s been smooth sailing so far. I recommend it if you are technical, want to get away from Microsoft, but still play the latest games. Benchmarks say DX12 game performance lags 15-20% compared to Windows, but that’s good enough for me!
