Regardless of whether or not yesterday was an "immigration enforcement action" we still had 1) ICE agents present who have a "casual relationship with the truth" at best, like a certain Mayor, where we saw 2) two dozen fully geared out federal agents who were masked and lacked any ID

Question for the lawyers given the ICE raid in Minneapolis today, can municipalities pass ordinances to require all law enforcement officers (local, State, and Federal) to show their faces, name, agency affiliation, and body cameras? Limits to hardware on the streets for specific actions?

Would a Burn Notice/Blacklist crossover series be too much to ask for?

The last Ward 10 item to share: I heard some one refer to the Minneapolis Times as a real news source, and I almost called an ambulance because the eyes rolled out of my head. Some how I got added to their email list, and my only thought was, who gave them my info? I asked via email with no answer.

Why is no one asking the hard questions for Ward 10, like is there a ghostbusters 2 river of psychoactive slime running under Ella Baker Elementary?

To have people clap at a DFL endorsing convention when a candidate answers the question of “are you Labor endorsed” with “no.”… That’s just wild…

I’d like to propose an undercard match. I will fight Speaker Mike Johnson - anything goes, loser leaves town.

I just don’t know, if it seems like the backlash that has caused your stock to plummet and encouraged folks to organize an extended boycott of your store, maybe doubling down on this isn’t the solution. I know I’ll be enjoying my DEI Costco hotdogs and spending my money elsewhere.

At this point Becka Thompson should probably sue for damages of $3.99 for a tube of aloe vera, because wow, this motion to quash is just chock full of some sick burns.

They blame pollution but cut the EPA and clean air and water regulations. They blame poor nutrition but cut SNAP and programs to bring local produce to schools. They blame increased screen time while destroying public infrastructure that connects people. All while they take millions off healthcare.

All FEMA memos must also now be less than a page in length? Doesn't seem like a good idea when your agency runs something as big as disaster response...

Meanwhile, clean air and water regulations are being gutted to allow for more toxins. Even if this report is right (I suspect big chunks of it are not), this seems pretty dumb.

This is just too much coverage of the horse race!

You already are a winner, Julius.

How long do you think it will be before this Administration manages to find a way to violate the Third Amendment?

You have to have leadership working with partners to get results like this. It’s easy to score easy points taking an easy dunk, but you know you’ve got a team player on your hands when they actively seek to elevate others! Thanks @melvincarter.bsky.social - looking forward to a well-earned 3rd term!

Of course NPR is a fan of Cena - it's radio. You literally can't see him.

Senator Van Hollen was able to get Kilmar out of jail, into some clean civilian clothes, and it looks like they are sitting in a hotel lobby. The Salvadoran government could have let him free and sent him back with the Senator. The capricious charade that is his imprisonment must end now.

I may be late to the party on this one, but if there is ANY year that Minnesota needs to support a Eurovision act, it is this year. www.youtube.com/watch?v=WK3H...

Facilitate in the context of the Supreme Court's ruling does not mean just "let in to the country." It requires the gov't to get him released from custody. They literally had Bukele at the White House and did nothing to get Kilmar released. Brazen contempt and no doubt a Constitutional crisis.

CECOT holds 40,000 people. Prisoners at CECOT never get to go outside, receive visitors, and a host of other indefensible incarceration practices. He wants 5 more of these built by El Salvador. That's him planning to violate, at a minimum, the 8th Amendment rights of 200,000 Americans.

Dear Congress, If Kristi Noem can go shoot TikToks at CECOT, maybe one of you could, I dunno, head down to El Salvador to go see if Kilmar Abrego Garcia to is there and alive? Maybe while you’re down there, give him a ride home?

Steiner math was absolutely used to create and execute this tariff policy.

Here is the funny thing about this: talking about the global public goods the US provides the world, and tariffs (being a very stupid way) or random fees (an also stupid way) is, according to this logic, a "tax" to pay for it. Congrats GOP, you are moving closer to one world government.

Did the algorithm that names Gundams break or something?

I have tariffed the penguins that are on Heard Island and which you were probably assuming did not export goods forgive me they were taking advantage of us so cunning and so cold

It’s not the first rule in international economic negotiation, but it is certainly top 5: don’t f*** with the penguins.

It is 2002. I am 18 years old. We are in a once-in-a-generation economic crisis. It is 2008. I am 24 years old. We are in a once-in-a-generation economic crisis. It is 2020. I am 36 years old. We are in a once-in-a-generation economic crisis. It is 2025. I am 41 years old. We are in a—

Not sure what Wisconsin law is like, but if it’s like mn, and you say that you are randomly giving away a million dollars, and then you don’t give it away randomly, that sounds like a violation of gaming statutes. If it is an inducement to vote, it sounds like a violation of campaign finance laws.

They are trying to end Social Security by making it dysfunctional. Don't staff the phones. Close offices. Make it impossible to collect. Absent a government program, investment banks are gonna make a killing on this at our expense. Charlatans to the last. www.desmoinesregister.com/story/opinio...

Gang, I think we need to do better than #SignalGate. I propose #SignalPotDomeScandal. Not enough #PotDomeScandals these days...

Reports are coming in that Elon and DOGE are reviving AOL Instant Messenger at DoD and various intelligence agencies to facilitate better Panama/Canada/Greenland war planning.

I will concede ahead of time this is a distraction for the real egregious stuff going on, but come on, what the hell?

Great. It sounds to me like they just admitted that all 89 of them are functionally in charge, and all equally share in the responsibility of violating judicial orders, and that they all need to sit in jail for contempt.

Hold on, just have to eat my Delicious Exclusive Incentive hotdog from Costco while I check on the Target stock price...
