People often don't realise how big a number a billion is; a thousand hours ago was late April this year; a million hours ago was 1911; a billion hours ago was 112,000 BC (before man used fire)

Are these people insane? Musk has decimated Federal departments and aid. He has also, by all accounts, taken data he's not entitled to. He is in favour of the tax cuts for the rich but wants to cut spending. His problem with the bill is the opposite of the Democrats'.

Interesting that Vance says "the trust of the movement he leads" rather than "the trust of the American people" - he's distancing himself already

How about: withholding health care from the poor and sending innocent people to concentration camps in foreign countries?

If they've sacrificed their lives, then I'm afraid they won't be saying anything. If they haven't sacrificed their lives then it's just conjecture

Americans were traumatised when just over 3,000 people were killed on 9/11, but seem happy for higher numbers of Americans to starve

It's not so much that it's only women that stand up to him, more that it's only women that he backs down to. His relationship with his mum was not healthy

The last time you had a revolution, it was because a bunch of rich guys didn't want to pay tax, and they got the poor to fight for them. This time, the rich are in league with the government. Good luck!

When Ireland got independence, there was nobody here with any experience of running a large bureaucracy; apart from the church! So the government turned to the church! It's been put right since

Nope. Voted out of the Constitution in 2018 and removed from the law in 2020. We all make mistakes (especially meπ)

We don't have Blasphemy Laws in Ireland, they were removed from the Constitution via a referendum in 2018. Ireland has a an evolving, modern constitution, led by the people

Trump said they're down 97%, so I'm guessing they were up around $208 a dozen at some stage

You are a great advocate for fairness and justice. I've worked for American companies and have many American friends who are great, but it can't be ignored; over 70 million Americans voted for and approve of Trump

Poor kid. Shocking and sad stories all over the US.
He will cut immigration, mainly because the US has become a country nobody wants to go to any more. Your tourist figures later this year will be horrific

In most countries this would have been sorted out in one hearing: the government has admitted that somebody who was legally resident in the US was mistakenly kidnapped and sent to a foreign prison which is being run for the US. Tell foreign country to send them back. End.

So Trump says he's 6'3" (and 215 poundsπ€£π€£) yet Musk is 6'2" and he towers over Trumpy (Stumpy?) Whenever I've seen them together. Amazes me that no-one seems to mention it, certainly no news media.
