Borage – Attracts pollinators, improves soil, and is considered a good companion for many plants. It’s also medicinal.

Calendula – Sometimes confused or grouped with chamomile, but offers antimicrobial and soil healing properties, while attracting beneficial insects.

Comfrey – This is one of the most common companions in such a guild. It’s a powerhouse for biomass production, dynamic nutrient accumulation, and mulching. Its deep taproots mine minerals from subsoil, and it’s often planted as a “nurse plant” or ground cover.

I had 2 OBEs when I was 19, after trauma. Both happened unexpectedly, instantaneously. I remember sensing that I should not be “leaving my post unattended.” I struggled against the pulling to get back into my body. For years I’ve wondered where I’d have gone, and reading this advice gives me chills.

My kids LOVE this. They ask for it on regular rotation. I love to make it for them because it’s quick, easy, tasty, cheap, and healthier than Mac-n-cheese. ENDORSED.

Fact checking orgs and media seem like a top tier priority to me. Followed by free, accessible education to consumers on how to spot BS.
