Lived in a (bigger) small town, close to where the KKK began and where public lynching was still happening within local people's lifetimes. Home deeds forbidding sale to 'other than the pure white race'. Blatant racist policies still initiated. Imploding as its youth got away and its bigots aged.

Agreed. Remember, however, that just about as many individuals voted for each of the two main parties in this election. In this particular case, he would likely have won (albeit by a narrower margin) even with no electoral college.

You need an attention span longer than one question, and to use more commonsense rather than repeating the mantras that have been taught to you.
