So very true. Begs the question: who is the snake in the backyard in this scenario—Trump or Musk?

Wish I could say the same. Most of my MAGA extended family have dug their heals in. 😢

I love Diane Ravitch. I highly recommend people follow her.

To be fair, this is what I look like when I must listen to Trump’s nails-on-a-chalkboard voice. I regularly roll my eyes (and flip off the radio) when I hear it. 😆

Is it intentional or coincidental that the bottom left picture/logo has KKK around the edges?

Come on, my witty Blue Sky wordsmiths! There is a great T-shirt or bumper sticker slogan using TACO somehow. I’m just not witty enough to create it. Help me out!

Teachers unions are demonized by Republicans. I live in Indiana, a red state. We teachers have been stripped of money, clout and a “say” in our profession because of their demonization and anti-union propaganda.

As an American, I strongly support your decisions. You should stay out or travel to a country that welcomes you with open arms. Also, please know that #47 does NOT represent the majority of Americans. He most certainly does not represent me.

Jeffries has more decency and character in his pinky finger than the entire GOP.

I highly recommend the historical fiction book “The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek.” It gives beautifully imagined detailed descriptions of the life of one of these women.

As a Spanish teacher in Indiana, this hits home a little too hard.

“We must strive to be friends of God, because we are the only hands that God has.” In this political environment, I needed to be reminded of this.

As Thomas Paine wrote in Common Sense: “in America the law is king. For as in absolute governments the King is law, so in free countries the law ought to be king; and there ought to be no other.”

Saw this at an art museum today and it spoke to me about what’s happening in our country, though it was written by an Aboriginal Australian woman.

All of this under the guise of keeping Americans “safe.” Total hogwash.

*This* public school teacher wishes you were the governor of Indiana. Instead, our state government is siphoning away money and resources to voucher and charter schools.

Our high school just renovated with bathrooms like this. It eliminates long lines. It’s efficient.

But…a Houston area kid battling cancer was honored at the State of the Union. It absolves Trump of this error, right? 🙄

Good God. The president of the United States doesn’t know the difference between the word “loose” and “lose.” We have elected a dumb f—.

This quality is vital to our future as a nation. If we ever closed the door to new Americans, our leadership in the world would soon be lost.”

We create the future, and the world follows us into tomorrow. Thanks to each wave of new arrivals to this land of opportunity, we're a nation forever young, forever bursting with energy and new ideas, and always on the cutting edge, always leading the world to the next frontier.

“We lead the world because, among nations, we draw our people—our strength—from every country and every corner of the world. And by doing so we continuously renew and enrich our nation. While other countries cling to the stale past, here in America we breathe life into dreams.

The angle of Trump’s legs tell me he is wearing lifts in his shoes. No way are his calves that flexible.

Same here, @GulfOfMexico. I don’t get sick at the sight of a cross; I get sick at the sight of a cross around an evil person’s neck.

Indiana has had a Republican supermajority for quite some time. I suspect it is more of a purple state, but gerrymandering prohibits better representation. Still…I am pleasantly surprised by this turnout.
