Tam al'Thor. No special powers, no special abilities, but competent at everything he does. Older than most of the other characters, and a devoted family man.

Mark me down for Lanfear. More powerful than anyone else, but can't leave the weaker ordinary people alone. Nefarious, but sometimes an ally, and never someone you can trust.

Am I the only one who thinks Pedro Pascal looks a lot like Burt Reynolds? πŸ€” If they ever do a biopic, he'd be my first call. Or a reboot of Smokey and the Bandit?

Since I designated Beverly Crusher as Morgase Trakand, it only makes sense that Wesley Crusher should be Gawyn Trakand. Both characters are the fandom 'butt monkey', whether that is deserved or not.

I always appreciate it when they write themselves. And those are always the best ones.

I nominate Morgase, because she's a redhead and a mom.

No one is more confident than the confidently incorrect. I'm confident of this. 🧐

That's so cool. I used to go to the Grand Lake Theater when I lived in Oakland. Now I wish I could have seen the movie in one of the specialty formats. I did see it on the best screen at my local theater though. I don't remember any aspect ratio changes, but I wasn't looking for them.

It's a good read! πŸ₯³

Anyone who finds themselves being repeatedly blocked and muted on Bluesky probably should go back to Xitter.

Y'all are making me glad I never read any of his non-WoT stuff. Guess I won't watch any adaptations that do get made either. His work on WoT was far from perfect, so he definitely lives in a glass house here.

I even wrote a song (parody) about it. 😏 youtu.be/5qZk4oVI6s0

I abandoned Xitter as soon as Leon bought it. I didn't use it much to begin with, though, it seemed pretty terrible even before that. I've been much more active on Bluesky than I ever was at The Bad Place.

These guys rely on each of us being the better person, and engaging in good faith, giving them the benefit of the doubt. They don't know what to do when one of us is willing to be the worse person, which is where I come in ...

Wait 'til they get a load of me. 😈

I abandoned all hope immediately, because This Is The Bad Placeβ„’, so if the show does find a second life, it will be an unexpected delight. I hope everyone involved in the show knows how much we appreciate them. I wrote dozens of song parodies extolling their work. Those are my love letters. ❀️

Amazon should update their logo like this:

We knew Amazon was evil, so we shouldn't be surprised at their actions. Hopefully the show can land somewhere that gives it the space it needs. But even if it doesn't, it went out on top, it "ate and left no crumbs", as the kids say. And hopefully Amazon loses big on RoP. 😈 Yes, I'm petty.

I'm just going to block this guy, lol.

Amazon Prime will never have my eyes on any of their shows, period. That company is dead to me. That's the silver lining to all of this for me. Amazon was always horrible, and I kind of expected that they would be horrible about this one last thing of theirs that I liked.

You should also put all the flags and other symbols in the decal libraries for the Torso, Head and Legs assets. These can work either as tattoos or face/body paint, or as clothing decals when combined with colorblocking decals.

It exists to make rich people richer. That's all, nothing else.

Creativity has always been my therapy. I pour everything into the song parodies and other creative pursuits. It helps.

Stupid people will say it deserved to be cancelled, but they say stupid things all the time. We know the show was great, and I still think there's an outside chance someone like Apple might see its potential. But I'm so glad we got what we got even if that doesn't happen.

Have you informed Leeroy that he is the goodest boi? I suggest you do so if you haven't yet. 🧐

I wasn't the only one either. 😊

Apple would be my pick for a new home for WoT. I would get Apple TV if they picked up WoT. I might even buy a new laptop, lol.

I have a zero tolerance policy. "Goodbye forever" is my only response to the idiot trolls. I banned a few on the Dusty Wheel stream. Felt good. 😁 I love that Bluesky allows me to silence the idiots for all time.

If HBO or someone else swoops and saves WoT, they would be my hero. HBO needs good shows. Heck, maybe even Apple TV? They like high quality stuff.

Silver lining: Now none of us has any reason to give Amazon another cent of their money. They were always horrible.
comment in response to post
The only reason I'm not sad is because I have learned that hope only leads to sadness, so I just stopped doing that. Can't say I really recommend that strategy though.

No one can say the show was cancelled because of the quality. Hopefully some other production company will give Wheel of Time a new home, but even if that doesn't happen, we got more than I ever dreamed we would get. Thank you to everyone who made this great show. #CancelAmazonPrime #CancelPrime

I can so relate. Some of mine were very easy and quick and didn't give me any trouble during the writing and production process, and those are generally the ones I still like. The ones that required endless revisions and iterations, not so much. πŸ˜† But those mind-babies still demand to be made. πŸ™„

Oh, I'm still working on other ideas, when they come to me I have little choice but to work on them. I kinda had that feeling last year, when I did "Mindfall", I almost wanted to swap it out instead of "I Read All Night", but I think that's just recency bias. I always prefer the latest thing I did.

LOL, it's been done for over a week, so of course I submitted it yesterday. I just like to make sure these are done and submitted well ahead of time so I don't have to worry about doing something on a tight deadline and then later not liking it. 😁
