When I moved to the UK in 2002, I was gifted a box full of Cambridgeshire Ordnance Survey maps from an acquaintance who had lived here. They are still brilliantly detailed for walkabouts.

I had the same question on Tuesday flying back with airplane mode on. Clever.

These are great ideas. I was just wondering if there is a way to compile and run it, then one could generate an output that is compatible with either electronic or (shiver) paper submission.

Never seen that. Seems like people where you are may be doing it wrong. I would say that the number of generalised denigrating comments associated with unchangeable characteristics has decreased. Hopefully that seeps into the brain as a not so good thing to do.

Let’s start with digital feudalism. In medieval feudalism, peasants worked land they didn’t own, under rules they didn’t choose, for lords who profited from their labour. Today, we work for attention, on platforms we don’t own, governed by algorithms we don’t control.

Imported engineer here. How does he think this happened? It is not like there is great support or status for engineering in the UK. Engineers are seen as the 'people who fix your boiler' (indeed those are very useful people), whilst people like himself wish to be lawyers instead.

Thanks. Really interesting how they just meander in.
