Thought it might be a nice fun evening to sit down and watch the Scotland match. For fuck’s sake eh? Goalkeeper injury, more of Scotland’s trademark gentle passing exercises across the defence, and an early goal, all within the first ten minutes. I’m almost speechless. #SCOICE

Hmm often thought Moldova could be next: one of few places left in Soviet sphere that is outside NATO and has vague/disputed borders to give (supposed) credibility to an interest. Perhaps Russia’s incapacitation in Ukraine makes this a fantasy for now and underlines how Ukraine is protecting Europe.

Johnathan Joss died a hero. He was murdered for being gay, he went out protecting his trans husband from being executed. They burned down their home and killed their pets and then they murdered Joss while trying to murder his husband. The New York times can barely muster "fatally shot." I hate this.

When landowners say they it doesn’t matter who owns land but instead it is how it is managed that matters, I always ask if I can have their land & they can continue to manage it. I have had no takers yet.

A fascinating birch trunk found whilst exploring the Caledonian forest. It was hollowed out, mobile, and felt like it had very little weight to it. An interesting selection of mosses and lichen taking advantage. I think maybe Cladonia and ochrolechia? #scotland #birch #lichen #moss
