Now I'm wondering about the violent backstory of Mario and Luigi that Nintendo has been keeping secret for decades.

It's a simultaneous lie about his peers and also about Trump. "He's more for the rural, middle-class type of person" Yeah, right.

It certainly won't play well, but it's starting to seem like it won't play widely either unless some journo has a relevant book coming out by 2026.

Oh, so they *do* know how to set a narrative.

I am coming around to the idea of organizing the offenses under those clauses in the Declaration of Independence that were calling out King George.

Yup. The NYT is useless.

It can also be explained as simply as "Why would you need to buy the government twice?"

Harris *did* swing a few percentage points in the states she focused her campaigning on. She was just overtaken by the inflation disgruntlement like nearly every other incumbent on earth in the last 18 months or so.

I will admit I had the wrong impression of the electorate; I assumed the nihilism run rampant was a problem coming from the right and the vacuum-brained, swing voting center. But what is nihilism, if not relitigating Biden 5 months into this destructive, authoritarian, clownshoes shitshow?

Don't forget that when someone was about to break this story wide open, Fauci moved fast, directing the virus via bio-encrypted orders to take out this priority threat ASAP. The target? No doubt you've already guessed it: Herman Cain.

I found myself unwittingly doing the General Tagge morbidly fascinated/horrified expression while watching this.

To your 2nd point, god forbid voters as a whole be held responsible for the outcome of an election.

If you care about the policies, then either you think both parties are the same on policy (in which case further discussion is pointless) or you see that Dems are an improvement over Repubs and therefore Vote Blue No Matter Who applies in general elections.
comment in response to post
"Vote Blue No Matter Who" is specifically meant to help solve your "if you can't win" sentiment.
comment in response to post
Left-leaning voters abstaining from voting "Blue No Matter Who" on the Presidential ballot contributed to a measurably worse outcome. "Contributed to" and not "created," because 3rd party voters swinging headlong into the authoritarian felon presumably had a stronger impact in Trump's reelection.

Dang, just saw the news and have to issue a correction on a previous post of mine. I guess it's pretty hard to get an accurate prediction of mortality after all. bsky.app/profile/sith...

Frankly I'm comfortable on some level with Miller accruing more titles and official acts, putting his neck further and further out just prior to the inevitable backlash and reprisal.

More warfighter energy in that one post than in Hegseth's whole life

His level of stress is 0 since he doesn't actually care about most of the stuff a normal Pres would see as important, and he has enough money to live extremely comfortably

During my adult life, there's not been a *single* thing this ideological group has professed to believe which hasn't turned out to be utter horseshit, save for one: turning disfavored minorities into punching bags as leverage w/ the base to keep their taxes low. That's it. Everything else is noise.

I'd appreciate getting to read the book and then share it with my cousin, a more moderate pastor in TN who frequently encounters Christian Nationalist-curious and CN-enthusiastic parishioners.
