you should switch plans. That's an absurd price. An MVNO like Mint Mobile (www.mintmobile.com) or US Mobile (www.usmobile.com) would be significantly cheaper.

was it difficult to train him to use?

I don’t think people like it this time around either
comment in response to post
Usually this is the one case that is allowed

I’m writing on my phone during my lunch break so sorry about brevity and being unclear
comment in response to post
It’s not shorter when you consider the import, not to mention you can just do thing == null (double equals) and its equivalent to what you wrote
comment in response to post
i mean in this case I think the function is strictly worse., it’s not shorter or faster and it’s enough of an idiom that I think you could say the semantic value of the named function is less than something more complicated
comment in response to post
Kinda difficult with the example because a nullish check is easy and straightforward. It’s more work to go and find the utility function and import it than to just use a thing == null test
comment in response to post
Damn, I guess I didn’t want to see my app icons anyway

this is why the teenage turtles eat so much pizza. It’s an act of rebellion

Fuck I just noticed the price

maybe the faux harness coloring on the shirt?

I thought criticism was less about pocket as product but more that Mozilla bought it in the first place.

Oh shit, I pay $22.99 for the family plan… I hope they don’t change me over to the more expensive rate.

I got a modded iPod classic off of Etsy. Is v cool, but I wish it had Bluetooth, does this thing?

I feel like if you go down that path you’ll come upon an empty looking village with food vendors where if you eat the food you get turned into a pig (Spirited Away)

I wonder if this means Grover is black in the same way Piccolo from DBZ is black and the ninja turtles are black

The div element of interactables if you will

Can’t wait for the .exe TLD so I can install the woke mind virus directly from my web browser

GL with screen sharing! My manager has an ultrawide and always has issues with MS Teams only sharing the full width which makes everything tiny for us plebes with regular monitors lol

Those browsers all use safari as the web renderer as it was required by Apple. In the EU other engines are supposed to be allowed but none have actually released yet since I think they are having issues with lacking of platform APIs
comment in response to post
I mean I don’t think are any other browser platforms released on iOS yet, but regardless what happens with literally all the other browser permissions currently being managed? This is no different from any of the other ones.
comment in response to post
The browser developer is apple
comment in response to post
Permissions in a web browser are a thing already. it would be a similar mechanism as location permissions
comment in response to post
Make user enable a permission when requested by the app… problem solved.
comment in response to post
yeah I figured, was just pointing out the optics. it’s all good

The timing of this makes it seem like a subtweet of the latest decline of Deno post :\

BTW I think as long as they aren't nested in the tree they should be OK
comment in response to post
On mac at least, you can check out the accessibility inspector since it works with the simulator. I'm definitely not an expert but I think the only way to make nested pressable actions available to accessibility tech would be to expose them as accessibilityActions on the outermost pressable.
comment in response to post
I just don't think it's gonna happen. The web works the way they implemented it for the most part and if nothing else RN is moving even more in line with web apis.
comment in response to post
FYI nested touchables are inaccessible as well.
comment in response to post
> I honestly never even thought about accessibility. Probably why they did there best to make it accessible by default

I start working at 7am and get off around 3-4pm 😅 because I'm a west coaster working for a east coast company. It's not bad but lately I've needed a nap afterward.

Woah is it possible Spokane will actually vote for it? I as someone in Western WA I always assumed Spokane was way more conservative…
comment in response to post
Instead of paths I’ve started using subpath imports. it at least works pretty much everywhere
comment in response to post
IMO it’s even worse since there is a high likelihood you greatly benefit from notifications if they were used correctly and just told you the next time it was your move. without the notification your 1 move a day game gonna get forgotten pretty easily :<
