My band was banned from the biggest non-stadium venue in town because I wore a jacket with an anti-war message scrawled on it in sharpie and talked shit about George Bush from the stage and at another venue a guy swung at me after a gig for talking more shit on stage. It was all bad.

The fact that this was Boyle Heights is a very important designation to make, because it is a historic Chicano/Mexican community, which makes what's depicted here much more of an intentionally cruel intimidation tactic from these scumbags than reporting it being in Hollywood does.
