Sales* limited due to quotas

It’s a fictitious safety test that flies in the face of everything we learned about Japanese auto manufacturing in the 70s and 80s where they only sent us their highest quality cars (saws limited due to quotas) and this quality was generally much better than comparably priced domestic autos.

Wonder if Mr T realizes that many of those options listed could have also been used by the USA -instead of tariffs- to effectively encourage domestic investment and domestic consumption

This ignores the cost of capital. Importers buy the shoes at $40 knowing they can sell them at $56 (40% markup) Buying at $82 and sell at $96 is only a 17% markup. Businesses don’t work that way. They want 40% markup. They want to sell for $114.

Was he not paying attention when they said they would cut based in odd/even SSN? As much as I’d love to eliminate waste and even downsize some programs, slash and burn is not the right way to do it.

I asked DeepSeek to “describe the cultural aspect of art from Ancient Egypt” and “Describe 3 opportunity costs of entrepreneurship”. Should I be worried?

For the curious- the law was crafted with the design to be anti-cabaret (lewd dancing where children might be present), but is worded such that any cross-dressing — even wearing makeup — is punishable

Good thing you don’t live in Ohio! (Cross dressing as part of a public performance is illegal here)
