Australian, family man, gamer, atheist, leftist, not necessarily in that order. Hate and greed are bad, so who’s feeding them to you?

To quote the great Adam Savage, “I reject your reality and substitute my own!”

I feel like this is clearer or more stark with rap, because the person is just talking to you directly. Projecting their personality, stained as it may be, is the point.

Pure entitlement. He considers the government bought and paid for already, so the spending stops but he can do as he pleases, forever.

Australian here. Minor parties make perfect sense in our system but not in yours. You want a viable labor party? Win with progressive Democrats, then enact ranked choice voting. Progressives and liberals will suddenly be able to work together, like our Labor and Greens.

Question from Australia: are ICE officially police, or another kind of agent? Would such a law apply?

Time to re-lyric “Dumb Ways to Die”.

I don’t like to excuse inaction, but to be fair, people are planning around a general protest scheduled for April 19. This might just make it much more specific, especially in DC. Look out for Bastille references.

What was the original absolute margin?

The Simpsons never stopped. There’s always a character whose life gets worse nearly every time something is said by, to or about them, and it’s never their fault but always a punchline. Punching bags so far include Hans Moleman, Milhouse, and Moe the bartender who has become literally suicidal.

Before anyone gets too literal, what happens to a lithium battery left in seawater long-term? More importantly, what happens to the water?

I can’t let this by. This is not a headline. It’s the ultimate in letting people think what they want to see is going to be in the article, and therefore clickbait. If you don’t think the actual content will be seen as newsworthy, maybe it isn’t. Otherwise, back yourself. You’re better than this.

I would have put it “I’m Never Gon’ Be President Now (Never Gon’ Be Pres-i-dent Now)”

Spoilers * If you let Seath get right up to you and start an attack before you break the shiny thing, he’ll be stunned long enough for you to run around and at least start hitting the tail.

A farmer bailout would cause a huge fight in the White House. JD Vance is counting on farms to fail so he can buy the land through AcreTrader.

Either they are letting Russia take whatever they want, or they know Russia won’t need to commit cybercrimes against the US because they’re just GIVING them whatever they want. Either way, from now no other country can safely share intelligence or any other data with the US. Hear that, Five Eyes?

They did that in Sonic ‘06…well, two out of three ain’t bad. It was a city and it was big.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth has saved me so much damn money.

Dad and I never overlapped in terms of gaming, except when we got a new Sierra adventure game. Then it was an ongoing battle between him and my group of friends for the PC time to work through it. The rest of the time, he would play Digger or a Dr Mario clone until it beat him and pissed him off.

If this were happening, is there only one or a small number of places south of the border where these military aircraft would be landing?

Super Brothers: Sword and Sworcery (sic) gradually reduces your maximum health over the course of the game, leading to a final sacrifice. Hyper Light Drifter afflicts the hero with a terminal disease at the outset. This does not affect gameplay except in some quiet moments.

Imagine how Ace Ventura: Pet Detective would have gone if Ray Finkle were this guy instead.

Mascot gig, specifically a giant rare steak with fries for hair. A Townsville steakhouse got ambitious. Not at all ashamed, it got me centre court at halftime of an NBL game. Just hard to translate the skills to what I apply for now.

It’s begging for an alto vocal, or a legato synth around the same pitch, to build drama leading into the modulation and then soar.

I think we’re both right. The left doesn’t fight itself frivolously but rather because those with money to lose are stifling ideas via donations, pitting liberals against progressives and so on. It’s not about yelling at everyone to “just get along”, it’s about neutralising actual bad actors.

Star Trek: The Next Generation. Easy hits and loops, varied missions, great sound with the real actors.
