A statistical take: Gender is not binary but bimodal. “Cis male” and “cis female” are such a majority that it’s possible to pretend it’s just binary. People outside the two ‘modes’ complicate the world merely by existing, but still have a right to exist. Trans and queer rights are human rights.

#musicians is there a high-pitched woodwind instrument that can play an A but not the B just above it? I think the song Guardia Millenial Fair in #chronotrigger omits a high 6th note to simulate this. I heard the note so clearly in my head that it was years before I noticed it wasn’t there.

1886 spoiler: Dr Jekyll was doomed because he remained a normal, conflicted man while Mr Hyde was pure self-interest. That single-mindedness helped Hyde slowly take over while Jekyll fruitlessly searched for a miracle formula to control him. The left cannot afford to fight within itself anymore.
