Thankfully my water intake is good and I get enough fiber so I don't have to worry about that

If you need one that can withstand cold climates and wind damage though, this is a great option for harsh winters. It does feel greasy after applying, but it'a been the best at ensuring wind damage is at a minimum

6. Also miscellaneous bullshit
- Take vitamins and eat a lot of protein and omega-3s
- Wash in warm or lukewarm water
- Drink water
- Don't put conditioner on your roots
- Multi-benefit things are great if you want less bullshit in the bathroom
- Massage your head

5. More fucking conditioner. I spray my hair at this point with the actual-leave in that's basically a mist. It helps me detangle with a wide-tooth comb esp since the length of hair I have is too much

4. Hair masks! Honestly you don't even have to get that crazy with it. Masks get expensive and a leave-in for textured hair is usually cheaper
I use a Mielle leave-in w mango in it. I then saturate my hair in it, put a shower on my shoulders, and leave it in for 10-20 minutes before rinsing

3. Condition, condition, condition!!!!!! If you wash frequently due to sweat, oil, dirt, salt, whatever, ALWAYS CONDITION AFTER!!!! It's how I can get away with so much washes!! Rn I use Pantene's sulfate free volumizing conditioner (and I use a LOT) but a hydrating/nourishing one might be better

2. Medicated shampoo!
Your scalp needs care too! But it might be more cost-effective for people to go with a medicated shampoo they swap in every few washes. I like heads and shoulders since it's also anti-fungal, so it works as a nice scalp balance and anti-fungal for your body when needed

1. Hair needs! I like ones that hydrate (less brittle, less tangley, and frizzy) and bond-strengthen (smooth, soft, and helps dark hair be dark)
My favorites so far have been Nexxus' ultimate moisture, but the one I'm using (pantene 7-in-1) is also nice, just a tad stripping for me

It's not quite where I want it to be yet. I still have breakage and moisture issues, but this was after my hair was so brittle that you could mistake it as chemically treated... so it's a journey! But what I have so far is real nice

I have straight black hair and I do not use styling products for reference! My main struggles are moisture, breakage and frizz since I also live in a cold area where the air gets really dry

Basically revived my hair by doing a double condition (pantene-whatever I didn't read the bottle for an initial condition and then using the mango mielle leave-in as a hair mask) along with a spray-in but my hair has never been that dry even in the ocean oh my god

That sounds heavenly oh my god... w/ some vanilla bean ice cream too. Pie good enough to earn the mandate of heaven

All of them got thick skin and it keeps them fresher for longer. I usually get pink ladies cause they're tart and less sweet than a honeycrisp

3. Hawaiian Tropic facial sunscreen
Unfortunately they're right. You do need good sunscreen. I like this one tho cause it smells yummy and helps moisten my skin well. There's probably better ones out there tho since it leaves me feeling a bit oily until I stop thinking about it and then it's great

2. Pro Foot cream
Every other foot cream is fucking lying to you this is the best one. Slap some on and wear socks over it it's a game changer if where you live is dry/cold. Plus your hands get moisturized after you rub this into your feet too

1. Equate body scrubs
Exactly like the tree hut ones but you get more. I'd reccommend taking a shower/bath and then patting your arms/legs dry before using it. This is why I'm weirdly smooth
