I love the colorway! I’m sure she will love it too!

I’m a Lego fan and a knitter, and if colleagues gave me that I would be so very touched. It’s beautiful and thoughtful.

Love it! What’s the yarn?

I have vests on the brain so if it were me, a vest. Either color blocked or striped.

At 50 something I’ve learned that there are some days I can only reliably count to 2.

I got my account taken down a few months ago. And I refuse to make a new one. I miss keeping up with my friends but my partner keeps me updated on important things happening in their lives.

Maybe we’re the lost tribe? Lol. (Too close to Joseph Smith’s teachings though.) Also, no I’m not part of any 3d knitting group.

It was pretty inspiring. There were at least as many people there as there were at the women’s march. Maybe more. And I think the ā€œcounter protestersā€ had a hard time rolling coal on people since so many streets were closed for the bike race.

Perhaps I’ll see you at the events today, I’ll be celebrating knit in public day while gathering with fellow Bendites using our voices and our first amendment #nokings #knitinpublicday

Very brave of you, I don’t think I would even attempt color work with a non wool yarn. I’m all about easy these days. ā€œSocks, socks, an easy garment, and more socksā€ has been my mantra lately. May the fiber goddesses and saint distaff be with you!

Yesterday was laundry day. The state of our nation has rapidly deteriorated since January. At least we will have socks. Every stitch helps me tamp down my anxiety, allowing me to think clearly and act accordingly #handknit #sockknitting #knitting #knitsky #blueskyisforknitters #handknitsocks

🧶🧦Third pair for May. Mystery thrift store yarn, judging by the way it made my hands feel, there was cotton in it. I also cast on a self drafted vest. Keeping my hands busy is helping keep my anxiety down #handknit #knitting #handknitsocks #knitsky #sockknitting #handmade #knit #blueskyisforknitters

Today EmToTheThird put out a video of knitting & fiber related creators to check out. Most have been mentioned in this thread, but there were a few new to me ones. More uplifting radical content to indulge in. Yes please.

When the Moon Turns to Blood by @leahsottile.bsky.social (I bought it, but it’s available on Libby) it’s about the Daybells and fringe LDS beliefs. Reads like fit could be fiction, but it’s not.

I haven’t tried either of those, but I have been adding collagen to my smoothies (and often wear a wrist brace and compression gloves)

Stretch your hands and fingers before knitting, it really helps. Also if you haven’t seen the episode of Fruity Knitting where they talk with a physical therapist, I highly recommend!

🧶 second pair of May socks 🧦 The crazier this shit gets, the faster I knit. Stay safe out there! Know & invoke your rights, while we still have them. Love hard, fight harder. #handknit #knitting #handknitsocks #knitsky #sockknitting #handmade #knit #blueskyisforknitters

Oh, I wanna knit allllllll the things. I seemingly only have the ability to function on muscle memory. These are such unprecedented and overwhelming times.

This was the perfect year for me to do it. It seems I have *only* the capacity (mental/physical/emotional) to knit socks. I haven’t even been spinning or dyeing. Which is unusual, but I’m respecting my limits.
