Could Martinelli be a proper number 9 when he’s fit from injury until end of the season, sharing minutes from Kai & right/left winger sharing minutes from Ethan & Trossard?. There will be offsides, but there will be goals
comment in response to post
Lucas Perez is a free agent, as is Diego Costa
comment in response to post
Can’t hold Arteta responsible for Martinelli getting injured & then playing through the next few minutes before going down. Go down straight away. I’d imagine the injury is worse than it should be
comment in response to post
Yep, makes you wonder how many points they have that they shouldn’t had the games been reffed correctly & red cards issued. Then the games missed due to violent conduct. These things matter

It’s got a hint of a reverse Seven Sisters or am I seeing things

A villain in villains clothing, I’d suggest. Great article Jonathan. They beat us fairly & squarely over both legs. Good luck in the final for them, especially when you take in the remaining teams

I’m hoping the chef in Dubai force feeds him until he puts 10ibs on

He’ll know it’s better not to antagonise a wounded beast. Best to do those things behind closed doors. Funny as fuck tho…

Just ya 6 potential lb’s in the squad today. No striker like 😂

Sickness, could be worse I suppose

Fancy telling your boss & customers through a newsletter that you know there’s various reasons why you keep failing, but you’re not willing to accommodate change & will carry on with the same attitude & coaching patterns that have brought upon these poor results

Who’s gonna buy him & pay him?

Surprised this hasn’t been tried before. Silly trying to make KT into a ball playing DM previously & Calafiori looks like he could do both roles if given the chance. A fit White & Timber can easily be DM (although I like White as he is)

I’m not as negative about zinny as most, I can forgive the odd mistake leading to a goal if we have total control of the ball & make incisive forward balls, which I think are his best qualities

I thought they were both top drawer for 18 months & now they look burnt out, injured & can’t get back or disinterested

& Arteta would have had personal knowledge of Palmer

Arsenal fc call to arms, it didn’t work
comment in response to post
Yep, would much prefer to see young Lewis at left back & timber at right back & Partey in his at times world class 6 position. Need to give the left side much thought, it isn’t & hasn’t worked for 3 seasons & I’m not blaming Trosssrd or Nelli either, they get no help at all
comment in response to post
Such poor player purchases over a decade. Now they’ve gotta try & sell them, we know how hard it is to get rid of driftwood. Let’s enjoy this

L8 I’d say, although it does make Merino obsolete

It was beautiful, it reminded me of Ö goals

Watched MOTD BBC earlier this morning & the commentator stated that the ref wanted the penalty taker to be at the spot with him. 1st pen Saka held to give to Ø. Can a ref demand this? What has it got to do with the ref? Ø did comply @FA_PGMOL

That’s fair, like you said, tracking your man is the least to be expected

It’s his first year in a foreign country playing a different kinds of ball in a really competitive league. He needs to be cut a bit of slack I reckon

The games was over at HT to be fair. It’s hard for the subs to come on when the remaining players have a shut down protect the lead & bodies mindset. I’m happy with that thought process when 5 goals have gone in
comment in response to post
You’ve probably noticed already, but people put “starter packs” on in say football, journalism, politics etc & then list approx 40 names/people. There really handy too

The first print is good, but the retro one is next level. What do you in the clipper program in 140 characters? 😂 it must be an awesome feeling

I went looking for him on this site & no joy last week. Can you tell him to sort it out?

If we could keep everyone happy it'd be the spine of the team top class barring a striker for 5 years

Great player Sham, England should be looking for him to partner Rice long term in the middle. We should be courting him for summer ‘25
comment in response to post
Nice article Tim. Hopefully a couple of seasons playing both 6 & a majority of left 8’s will give him the experience & skills needed for 6 position only. I’d like him to concentrate on passing the ball to the next players correct foot for them to take it on & for passing in front of the next player

It was impossible, but we got lucky quickly with Wilshere, Per, Edu & Mika all coming in at the same time. I imagine the non arsenal playing coaches have played a great part too. Hopefully the new tech dir comes in & adds to the back room staff rather than messing it up
comment in response to post
Think exactly the same. We were fortunate & had one bad experience with Emery (not that he’s bad) & I’m really enjoying the journey currently

We should strive to get money & lobbyists out of our political system. Just look across the pond & see our financial future

That place has been run badly since Martin Edward’s left. They should have re-employed Ralf Rangnick has tech director back in the mid 00’s

& now they’ve got to try & get rid of old age or poorly talented players on long & highly paid contracts. Some of these players may outlive the manager, that had no choice in them being at the club. #priceless
