My thoughts are with them as well, and with the 27 Palestinians killed yesterday by Israeli soldiers at a Gaza food distribution point, and the hundreds before them bombed in hospitals and"safe zones".

PSALM 58 Do you rulers indeed speak justly? Do you judge people with equity? No, in your heart you devise injustice, and your hands mete out violence on the earth. Even from birth the wicked go astray; from the womb they are wayward, spreading lies.

Break the teeth in their mouths, O God; Lord, tear out the fangs of those lions!

“Dear friends, don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot do any more to you after that. But I’ll tell you whom to fear. Fear God, who has the power to kill you and then throw you into hell." Luke 12:4-5

Finally some word from faith leaders. Anyone hear from the US Catholic bishops? Time to wake up gentlemen. 😴💤

This is so sad, and blatantly immoral. Do people know what it takes to qualify for Medicaid? You have to virtually no assets and pennies in your pocket. "You must not be content to give merely the crumbs from the family table, but give of your substance." John Paul II

Trump doesn't think about insulting Catholics. It doesn't even occur to him. He's entirely invested in power and control and is drawn to the papacy because of the absolute power the Pope is given. He lusts for that, to be named Pontifex Maximus.

This is why resistance also requires purging those in key positions who don't have the stomach to fight. Winning requires a clear focus, unflinchingly backbone, and a future vision, not melting in the hot hell of Trumpism. We need a bright shining sun to kill the infection.

Perhaps Bill will be kind enough to send me a check for all the IRA money I lost solely due to his new buddy.

Maybe that's why they both enjoyed their time together. They're both ego monsters.

You'll have to ask the worm. He handles all requests now, and keeps track of medical research.

What fight? Where is the rallying of thought leaders? The relentless resistance shown in public awareness? The willingness, as Teddy Roosevelt said, to be in the arena? All we see is a vacant landscape.

Now.... if it was a boy, you'd be the one asking the question, and the response would be, "I don't know...stupid name."

"All men are frightened. The more intelligent they are, the more they are frightened. The courageous man is the man who forces himself, in spite of his fear, to carry on." Gen. George S. Patton, Jr.

There are no half measures. These people must be driven from office and, like at the end of WW2, the leadership of this detestable MAGA criminal enterprise must be held accountable. This movement must be irrevocably crushed.

Senior leadership used this excuse in Nazi Germany. They still ended up on trial at Nuremberg.

Carl... Carl... did you have your coffee this morning? It's today Carl. The DJIA is going down another 1400 pts, China slapped down their own 34% tariff. Being slammed by a truck and still able to wiggle your toe is not resilience. It's called critical care and life support.

It's coming time to storm the Bastille and start taking the furniture from Versailles. Don't look to the Dems, they are standing in a blizzard with no coat, just starting to think it's getting cold.

They have lost the power of moral suasion. They are ineffectual, stale, like week old toast in the morning with lukewarm tea, instead of an out of the oven croissant and coffee with an edge. It's a messaging with no power, and people know when they hear it, and just shake their heads.

Oh, they'll talk about. Six months from now when everyone already knows and the news is stale. Dems don't know the power of urgency and emergency response. The house is burning down and they're looking for a phone book to look up the number of the local fire department.
comment in response to post
That's exactly the Democratic problem. With so much that has been happening they wait, ponder, overthink their strategy, give time for the enemy to gain ground, then speak; the words are hollow, stale, lacking any of the power of moral suasion.

Disgraceful cowering once again. You'd think that members of a great university would recognize when they are being played. More importantly, when affiliated members of gender, sexuality, racial, or ethnic origin are being used for political advantage. Step up, members of the Academy!

"I don't recall...I don't recall." These are top people in government. Do they recall where their car keys are? "I don't recall" has been the go-to ever since Reagan used it with Iran- Contra. He had Alzheimers.
