The 600 member Southern Adirondack Audubon Society whose mission "to protect the environment by preserving natural habitats and promoting environmental education”, had their insurance cancelled by The Hartford Insurance Company. The Audubon Society paid their premium and never had a claim....

Nine years ago today, Daniel Berrigan, SJ, priest and poet, passed away. A strident advocate for peace, he took action to witness against the govt role in a dehumanizing war in Vietnam. We can and must learn from him, and learn again what witnessing for justice means. Put it all on the line.
