That's very true, especially when it's a positive influence, sadly I see some kids being dragged down by their deadbeat parents.
I love the outdoors too, when I visited the states I tried to get out as much as I could, it's not the same here in the UK.

Holy cow, remarkably similar to my upbringing. Here's me about 2 or 3 years old with my dad.
I used to ride pillion holding the belt of his belstaff, but it had been known to belt around on the James in the similar way to that lucky kiddo

I used to work opposite the Beatties in Tottenham court road and spent a ton of time (and money!) in that store
