#5 might be a problem...

... ok, so we need an old priest and a young priest... That is the most disturbed thing I have seen in a while. Also, anyone know where I can find rubber chicken? Asking for a friend.

There are many politicians I would vote for if it meant they moved out of the country, to be fair.

This kind of short term thinking has to stop. Will no one think of our great great great great great great grandchildren!?
comment in response to post
I wish I had no idea what you were talking about.

My wallet hates you all. Me? I'm good!
comment in response to post
... yeah, I really forgot how much the US didn't seem to give a rats arse about that.
comment in response to post
What are the odds they effectively murdered that man? How many will ever see the light of day? How is this NOT immediate impeachment, and life in prison!? The US government is effectively trading slaves, stripping human rights as they strip people from their families. Disgusting.

You are a few weeks behind. Sorry, but you are now way past any pretence of adherence to the constitution or rule of law.
comment in response to post
Forget France asking for the Statue of Liberty back. Just wait another week, she will up and start bloody walking at this rate.
comment in response to post
They don't look like big moves, but these are all long term plays requiring concerted effort, some of which carry high costs. These are not things you do "just because it seemed like a good idea". This is the equivalent of pulling your arm back before throwing a punch. This shows intent, not posture

An increasing number of those deported, illegally are being found to have been LEGAL RESIDENTS with NO CRIMINAL convictions or affiliations. Innocent, law abiding, US residents. How long before you identify citizens in the mess as well?
comment in response to post
It isnt just regaining trust. If Canadian petroleum companies choose to sell to China instead of the USA? The US will have a hard time recapturing that supply - which currently is absolutely critical. Same for other goods Canada has been openly looking to offload elsewhere.
comment in response to post
Some of it? Decades. There are long term trade agreements pending to supply materials currently sold to the USA to other parties. These deals are not easily undone. It could cost the USA an absolute fortune to regain access to resources traded away.
comment in response to post
I bloody hate to hear you say that. Outstanding that US veterans recognise it. Bloody horrific that you have to.
comment in response to post
MTG. Just a reminder she exists.

Why would you open a new factory in the US? The tariffs also apply to the import of raw materials. It may be CHEAPER to buy imports, even with the tariff than domestic in the US, as a lot of manufacturing has material cross borders several times, tariffed by Trump every time. Bloody. Imbecile.
comment in response to post
If it is, then I finally understand what he meant when he said people will be sick of all the winning and begging him to stop.
comment in response to post
There will be a lot more of this. What idiot puts tariffs on raw materials coming into the country and claims it will help bring manufacturing jobs back? Carefully targeted tariffs to protect a specific industry can work. Tariffs on everything is just idiocy.

The UK were quite open that they were reclassifying just about everything, limiting what would be shared with the USA.
comment in response to post
There is clearly a no refund policy on slaves the US government sells.
comment in response to post
What was desperately needed was a sense of direction. A reset, and renewed purpose. I am hopeful he has done that.
comment in response to post
He won't allow it because he sold those slaves, and doesn't want to break the contract. To be absolutely clear, I very much am pointing out that the abolition of slavery has been reversed, and the United States is openly trading in people as property. The USA, the land of the free, is a lie.

No! You can't name super-secret hacking tools! You will be arrested!

This really will take all three of F-Elon's braincells, and several months to solve. If only we had screenshots of the chat, including the reporter being added...

Dying. Absolutely dying. That is some funny shit there.

As a GM, I have plenty of characters to play thank you very much. Possibly an NPC support character, but only for exposition and red-shirting

My wife had pretty serious issues with depression. Still flares up from time to time. It isnt fun when your own mind turns traitor. That is where friends, family, and community come in.
comment in response to post
25 hours. Rookie numbers. You can do better. Honestly, bloody well done. There is no way in hell you will be able to see yourself in the mirror and not grin like the Cheshire Cat. Well bloody done.
comment in response to post
Half my table play because it is the one occasion they can socialise comfortably. Glad you got out and had fun. Next time you aren't sure? Come back and ask the community for support. We've got you.
comment in response to post
HEY! Lucifer buddy, how have you been!
comment in response to post
Funny you say that. I played fair bit of 3.5 back in the day. Came back to the hobby to 5e. That... well, never again. Opened my eyes to the myriad of other systems. I always thought 2d6b systems were for children. I was an idiot. Linear vs probability curves? Stunned me. Please do this.
comment in response to post
Oh HELL no... you can't say that. We can't say that... can we say that?

I don't have a lot of faith in American voters. This? This is a little glimmer of light.
comment in response to post
That's about expected at this point. Hard to be surprised by a group of people who have decided the good ole USA needs to get back into the slavery business. Got people with a different skin tone? Sell em to El Salvador!
comment in response to post
I wasn't saying anything of the sort. I was saying the Democrat party is fundamentally broken. The gap between the left and the right within the Democrats is crazy. That makes it almost impossible to carry a consistent message.
comment in response to post
I imagine the people living there aren't having a great time of it!
comment in response to post
Who would have thought, functionally SELLING PEOPLE AS SLAVES (that is a hard labour prison) is BAD? Bloody idiots.
comment in response to post
They have consistently advertised that they absolutely will, when they know they have a clear advantage.
comment in response to post
Oh no, I am well aware of that little flotilla. The one that opened fire in commercial air corridor without advance notice? Pricks. BUT... that was before Trump really screwed the pooch. Just give it a couple of months, watch China attempt to soften Australian opinion of them.
comment in response to post
I would argue that the party probably needs to split, then form a coalition. It would allow more consistent messaging, and allow broader mandate for elected officials to pursue the greater good as they saw fit.
comment in response to post
Too left. The Republicans are far more uniform in outlook. The Democrat party is a VERY broad church. Members that would be considered extreme right wing in other countries are in the same party as AOC and Sanders? No wonder it is hard to unify. It must be like herding cats.
comment in response to post
I figured they would let the result stand with all the refused ballots to prevent the chaos overturning the result would cause. On the flip side, it can't cause NEARLY as much upset as unsupervised Trump at 2am with his phone.
comment in response to post
At least you know where you stand with China. They will tell you they are going to fuck you, how and for how long. It might be a shit sandwich but at least you have stability. Trump shakes your hand, you better check he didn't nick your wallet at the same time.
comment in response to post
Watch for China starting to reach out to Australia. It won't be EASY, but if they can soften Australia's position against them, they will be well on the way to completely usurping the USA.
comment in response to post
Wonder what would have happened if he had just stayed away? Hell, that applies to the entire presidency. Trump could have just sat out on the golf course every day of the whole four years and he would have been doing the world a favour!
comment in response to post
Something something 'Europoor' something something 'Freeloader' something something... mindless drool. No shortage of rubbish from the uneducated majority unfortunately. On the bright side, Europe has never been so unified! Euro as the new global reserve currency?
comment in response to post
I will give it a go... They buddy up, China relaxes and stops trying to out produce the USA in war materiel. Europe dealt with by Vladdy Daddy, USA doesn't need such a big military, USA saves a fortune and... world peace? Kumbaya? If that is actually found to be their plan I am going to scream.
comment in response to post
Oh no, China keeps Russia as well. Trump gets to be happy with being "allowed" by his Vladdy Daddy to take over Panama, Canada and Greenland. Surely Europe will stick by the "best friend they have ever had". Mexico will roll over any day now and start building that wall. Actually, good idea Mexico!
comment in response to post
They are at the moment. It damned near makes me sick to say it, but right now? They actually are. That really is a new low.
