Yes, looking at the order of presidential succession, it's pretty much a chain of horrors. www.usa.gov/presidential...

It would be nice if such a word or succinct phrase existed, but it would be nicer still if we lived in a world where such a word or phrase wasn't necessary. Also, I believe a wealth-based tax would be necessary to prevent the absurd concentration of wealth we're seeing in the U.S. right now.

How much sleep will Musk lose over this series of lost vehicles when someone else (you, me, and the rest of U.S. taxpayers) is picking up a hefty share of the tab?

Agree that getting DJT out of the presidency is the necessary first step, preferably with criminal charges. Unfortunately, the entire cabinet and other principals in his administration need to be replaced, too! www.usa.gov/presidential...

Maybe Kristi can guarantee a large pool of contestants by offering kidnapped immigrants a choice between this awful idea or a (probably unlicensed) version of Running Man.

If you're elderly, a parent who loves your children, or someone who cares about people beyond the front door to your house, you can't possibly justify voting for Republicans.

God bless him. I hope he can get back to his home after this.

"Trump is also seeking to close a tax loophole that allows investment fund managers to pay lower tax rates" Is this the carried interest loophole? That's been a pet peeve of my for awhile.

Too right! I'm old enough to see the trend line, and apart from a few bright spots I've concluded (a) there is no bottom and (b) we're all doomed.

The unanswered question that no Republican will address: why do we as a country need or even want these tax cuts at the top of the income distribution? Take the planned tax cuts off the table and so much pain goes away.

How 'bout we just explain to little girls that Evil President Trump caused the problem? At least that explanation would be true.

For-profit hospitals, like for-profit, health insurers, should be banned because of the obvious conflict of interests.

When you know that even the sychophants in your own party won't pass legislation that supports your authoritarian plans.

He should just cut to the chase and admit that he wants to be God. We all know it's his endgame. This dancing around the obvious is just annoying.

Only 29% to go, people. We can do this. (Also, is there anyone more deserving?)

Good for Gwen Walz! RFK, Jr., one more moron in an administration chock full of morons, continues his lifelong crusade to smear the Kennedy family name.

All members of the court know that Alito will bend the law, constitution, and history to concoct a rationale for an already defined conclusion. Why wait around for that when the country's legal institutions (including SCOTUS) are under attack.

As strategic responses go, that one's not going to go over well.

The first time @listifications.app let me know someone added me to a block list I was confused and a little concerned. Months later I've seen enough bad faith arguers to roll with it.
