In my folk horror universe of Five Turns, the Mother (Nature) is the deity. And though she punishes her sons (the grotesque mummers troupe of Tommy, Betty, & Fiddler) for their cruelty, she allows them to live. In keeping perhaps with the idea that nature is often cruel. #HorrorWritersChat
