UFO will always be my #1, I still think it's my favourite tv series ever and I mourn the lack of a 2nd series. If only they hadn't been forced to change it into Space 1999. (don't get me wrong I like series 1 of Space 1999 (let's not mention series 2) but as good as it is, it's no UFO) imo

Maybe a guessing stream where you do a type-in for the aquarius and we all guess what line number you'll press the reset button on? 😉

I would be very interested normally. but I got an N-GO (next clone) in the form factor of an original 48k Spectrum for xmas. So i'm good!

I have both UFO Comic Anthology books and they are superb!

As long as it's not September the 13th, we're fine!

Indeed! Other people would have made Minder yet another platform game (as so many tv/film tie-ins were) but Don Priestley made the perfect game to fit the series!

I'm truly gutted. I loved his games so much! My favourites being Mazogs/Maziacs, Dictator, 3D Tanx and the legendary Minder! RIP Mr Priestley and thank you. (I feel I need to make a tribute video asap)

I loved Pirates! (and most Microprose games) to bits but my #1 simply has to be Red Storm Rising.

Neuromancer on my C64. an awesome cyberpunk rpg!

1st pile. Why? Because the 2nd pile has Wizadore, I bought that game and even 30+ yrs later I hate it with a burning passion! 😄

£55 for a 2600 game jeez, sorry my wallet can't take it. 😉

I loved it so much and cannot imagine the hours I played it as I played it all the way to 'Elite' rank on the BBC, then up to 'Deadly' on the C64 and the Spectrum. ...that's when the Spectrum version would actually work ..damn lenslok 😀

Yes I did but only once, I think it was about 5-6 months after I bought it. Never beat it since

A wild guess: Previous owner left the batteries in and they leaked and corroded the hell out of it?

Straker was so cool! 🙂

He was so very cute. I'm so sorry, I know that pain and it hurts so very much. 😢

I'd agree with that. also the low price of the Spectrum coupled with 'bedroom coding' really pushed gaming forwards, how many coders of great later games originally started on the Spectrum. a hell of a lot!

B and C? Great.. I'll look forward to that. (as long as it's not R. lol)

I love both but really it's a no-brainer for me UFO is the greatest Gerry Anderson series ever and imo the best TV series of all time.

That was soooooo funny. lol

Looks very clean, maybe it was recapped too?

imo The "Royal" Mail are the worst delivery company right now. I've had more problems with them in the last few months than Amazon,DPD, Yodel or Evri combined.

I'll take that as a huge complement, thank you! 😀

How does one 'play computer'? Perhaps sit under a desk and make humming noises? 😉

Exactly!

What do I miss? Manuals! It sucks when you buy a game today all you get in the box is a disc. I miss HUGE manuals like the ones Microprose used to do. I mourn the loss of game manuals. 😢

Yep, I plan on watching as many as possible.

I always thought the Memotech addons for the ZX81 looked so cool. I think there were a few different ones too?

Still can't believe I actually bought that shite.

and.. after downloading it and playing with it for a couple of hours, I'm sold! Thanks a lot.

Sounds good to me.

You're not missing much. I had one but sold it, I think this gen of consoles is quite poor indeed. (both PS5 and Xbox S/X)
