Well, strictly speaking as I understand it, this shortage predates the tariffs due to a recall of Chinese syringes over quality issues. Maybe not tariffs, but the FDA sure failed everyone. No warnings. Nothing. We'll see.

I would add that tariffs are traditionally easy to layer with corruption for personal and political gain. That corruption can be obvious or hidden.
