Why? For the spectacle? Did they indicate any legitimate purpose?

It’s also not a defense to your landlord taking an adverse action against you in most cases. Like your recording example, it may be legal, but they don’t have to let you do it on private property!

Like, a structural shade you put up outside, or like, a shade on the inside of your window?

the entirety of the email. I know - the MSJ standard. It was also the right decision, but now I have been name-checked in a federal court decision in an unflattering way, as the judge indicates that my email did not reflect expertise on the matter (I am in fact an expert on the matter). Le sigh. 2/2

I know several veterans who have disability ratings related to the havoc those shitty boots wreaked on their feet.

This is amazing. Grew up on the Westside, and rarely went to DTLA. They're two different worlds.

Mike Honda. He basically moved districts after he tried to challenge a longtime dem incumbent and failed. Then tried w Honda and failed. Then he changed his personality and became a Bernie Bro and won. My former legal aid colleagues & I would go to town halls and get into it w him. Super fun.

A community room with some computers for properties targeted at very low income people, okay. But a rooftop farm? Gyms? Playgrounds (when there should be one in every neighborhood)? We need UNITS not amenities!

Curious about where the HCV homeownership participants are in the country and what the status is (how much money they have, etc.)

There's a legitimate discussion to be had about discrimination against majority groups & how we, as a country, should address that & what the legal standard for that should be. However, I don't think this is a technically incorrect decision. Title VII doesn't make that distinction.

And it's TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS. $2,000! If you have more than 2k, you can't get Medi-Cal or IHSS? If your assets are $2,000, you are poor! This is insane
