I’m just trying to figure out why they decided to parrot vitriol from “experts” when simply, “Women, even at the entry level, are highly trained in manufacturing at small scales,” achieves the point and has a much better implication than, “AMERICA NEEDS CHILD LABOR TO COMPETE WITH THEM SMALL HANDS”

It’s so heartbreaking to me that despite Ozturk being a pillar in her community—she was going to teach a class to local high schoolers this summer!—they enacted cruelty and evilness just for speaking up. In my head, every immigrant being detained by ICE is just as exemplar as her, and you should too

Today, our CEO Fatima Goss Graves testified in defense of trans athletes at the DOGE subcommittee’s USA Fencing hearing. Led by Marjorie Taylor Greene, this hearing was held for the sole purpose of attacking trans people. We countered them w/facts, compassion & unwavering support of trans athletes.

So if I understand correctly, a country that has supposedly “solved” its inequality, white supremacy, and racism problem is now removing Black artifacts of resistance from its national museum. Are they saying that racism was never there? Or are they saying that the subjugation shall continue?
