A role at GitLab that I'm really excited about:
Principal Software Engineer, Group Tenant Scale job-boards.greenhouse.io/gitlab/jobs/...
Focused on building GitLab’s next generation horizontally scalable SaaS platform, moving from a single-region monolith to a globally distributed architecture.

I used to give my kids unlimited access to Spotify, so that they could listen to music whenever they wanted to.
Had to stop that when I discovered that they were watching videos in app. There’s no way to disable it. Considering switching to Apple Music as a result. Such a self-own from Spotify.

Yes, they’re very similar in nature to labradoodles I think. Really good family dogs.

They’re goldendoodles. Poodle dads and retriever moms. The one in the front has a miniature poodle dad, the one at the back (slightly smaller) has a standard poodle dad.

I switched to DuckDuckGo in disgust after Pichai’s Trump inauguration attendance, and honestly it’s much better.

Gorgeous! I never realised that the Cradle of Humankind was so close to the city. Definitely on my bucket list…

Fair enough. I live in Hout Bay: this photo was about 3 or 4km run from my house, towards Constantia Nek. Not average, but also not that unusual either.

I guess this is a good option for all those batteries, now that the consumer car brand is completely toxic.

Related: listening to The Economist’s Scam Inc show all about pig butchery scams. Really depressing, but excellently researched. Well worth a listen podcasts.apple.com/za/podcast/s...
