Hegseth is a joke. Watching this interview was both painful and entertaining.

I have met Stacy at the BNR a few times and always love to see here posts and smiling face on FB. Her story is getting a lot of views over there...I hope it does here as well.

No, not great, and I suspect that some who voted for him may now have some regrets, as well as some who stayed home from the polls. The lower percentage gives me a slightly better glimpse of hope.

Less than 1/3rd of registered voters voted for this. 49% of a less than 64% turnout.

The point is that they were removed for needed roof repairs, not out of spite. Solar was definitely in its infancy at this time. In 2003, the George W. Bush admin had thermal panels and PV panels installed.

Please stop posting misinformation regarding the panels on the roof of the WH. They were hot water panels, not PV. They were on the roof for 7 years of the Reagan admin and were removed for needed roof repairs on the West Wing.

Those panels stayed on the roof for 7 years of the Reagan admin and were removed only because of needed roof repairs. These were not PV panels, they were hot water supply panels. Posts like this make it sound like Reagan came in and demanded they be removed.

The panels Carter had installed were for hot water supply, not PV cells for electricity which was very much in its infancy. Those panels stayed on the roof for 7 years of the Reagan admin, but were removed to facilitate resurfacing of the roof.

100% this! Yet he dazzled his followers with the idea that he would forfeit his salary. Gave up $400k a year to hoodwink the citizens into paying millions into his businesses.
