I was really wishing this rift would last longer

At what point was that charlatan ever a voice of reason?
comment in response to post
"Oh, no! Exactly what we asked for!"
comment in response to post
"Could?" COULD!? It pains me that @npr.org is the closest thing to a sane news service we have in this country, because in any other country this wishy-washy "Oh well" stuff would be seen as COMPLICIT.
comment in response to post
... I genuinely am running out of words here. How the fuck can anyone go "I'm gonna go arrest me some first graders!" and not instantly wonder what the fuck they're doing?!
comment in response to post
Jeez. Mixed emotions- on the one hand, annoying as balls that we had to have a term for this, excited that you're cited in the freaking DICTIONARY (Seriously that's so cool!) And... I'd say shocked but it's more disappointed that people were THAT HORRID about the term. Sometimes I hate people.

I wonder what'd happen if people started singing this at the Felon's "totally not a birthday parade."
comment in response to post
Pssst. @npr.org They're still gonna try to shut you down, even if you take their side.
comment in response to post
Emphasis on "Right."
comment in response to post
I don't think it's corruption, just cowardice. I bet the thinking is "if we don't rock the boat we'll get ignored." Isn't gonna happen, and a damn kindergartener could tell you otherwise, but the managers are apparently like Schumer. "Oh deary me, this is bad, better be as useless as possible..."

au.news.yahoo.com/unbelievable... The Australians sure are talking about it. GET OFF YOUR ASSES @npr.org AND START DOING SOME FUCKING REPORTING.
comment in response to post
Hey, @npr.org? Why aren't you talking about the Australian shot? Why aren't you talking about the police shooting first? Or the people being beaten? Why the hell are you taking this neutral wishy-washy tone with the man who wants to shut you down?
comment in response to post
That wasn't hypocrisy. He instigated J6. Why would he want to stop it?
comment in response to post
It's less ignorance and more "who's going to stop me?" Cause uh- who is? The Supreme Court is in Felon's pocket. Capitol hill is just kinda doing shit all, the FBI/other letter agencies have been gutted, and the military upper echelons have been purged. Who the fuck does that leave?
comment in response to post
@npr.org Folks, you know this isn't expressionless. This is a scowl. This is a glare. This is the expression a movie tough-guy uses when trying to intimidate someone. This is not "Expressionless." Fuck's sake you are supposed to stand up against this administration, not meekly say 'oh dear' at it!
comment in response to post
Because it's basically attempted genocide. Fucksake, @npr.org. They're trying to gut your funding, shut you down, and kill lots of us. WHAT THE FUCK WILL IT TAKE FOR YOU TO START CALLING OUT THE INSANITY INSTEAD OF PRETENDING IT'S JUST NORMAL SHIT- THEM SHOVING GUNS IN YOUR FACES?!
comment in response to post
Damn right. That's why I started writing, to make stuff I wanted. The fact that my friends like it us just a bonus.
comment in response to post
Where's the fun? Where's the enjoyment? Where's anything that doesn't make me think this guys writing is the most depressing, self- important blather ever?
comment in response to post
Jesus titty-twisting Christ could he sound any more pretentious? Has no one ever defined "purple prose" for his overly verbose ass? Maybe it's because I've always tried to write fun shlock to replicate the things I enjoyed writing growing up but this guy sounds absolutely insufferable.
comment in response to post
They haven't given a shit about any of us for decades, dunno why people are expecting that to change now.
comment in response to post
They're supposed to do that, yes. They haven't given a fuck about us for decades. I don't get why people expect them to suddenly start now.
comment in response to post
Jesus just call me out by name why don't ya
comment in response to post
It's a fine line. Cheetolini is *drooling* at the idea of using the insurrection act. And frankly, people are more scared of getting shot down by a cop than what's going on right now.
comment in response to post
Why would they CARE?
comment in response to post
"Ah shit, people aren't happy. Better lie real fast to deflect blame. Phew, that's done. So, when's my next meeting with a white supremacist and/or "campaign donor.""
comment in response to post
Well, the supreme court has been packed with shitheels who support Trump. They gave him, essentially, blanket immunity because the was afraid he'd go to jail. And as he's basically throttled the entire justice department, there are no more consequences. Welcome to the new USA.
comment in response to post
Gee. Maybe now that he is literally trying to shut you down completely you'll stop acting like this is business as usual and FINALLY stop downplaying his shit? No? Just gonna slink into the grave meekly? Cool. Cool. Cowards.
comment in response to post
I mean, yeah. I was considering cunt to my local pride event for the first time this year. And I've got the one family member I told saying, "what if this is the one some Redcap with a gun shoots up?"
comment in response to post
Sorry, Virginians. I'm having to ration my sympathy during these trying times and y'all are pretty much at the bottom of the list. You demanded this, you got it. Dunno what the fuck you expected.
comment in response to post
Gee, maybe this will get you lot to start taking him seriously and stop trying to whitewash his bullshit? No, more of the same? M'kay.
comment in response to post
The *best* people. Jesus fucking christ.
comment in response to post
"This is my rifle, this is my gun," "This is my plasma- SHIT I ROLLED 1!"
comment in response to post
"Despite" is such an odd way to spell "Because." Seriously. Stop fucking whitewashing this shit. Stop pretending this is a normal administration. Stop making it sound sane and normal. START calling it what it is. Insane, corrupt and criminal.
comment in response to post
Someone really needs to tell her she said the quiet part aloud.
comment in response to post
Eh. He hasn't lost it yet AFAIK. He should, but legal bullshittery.
comment in response to post
Jesus fucking christ. Either he got clocked by Steven Miller (who doesn't have a scratch on him) or he's so pathetic a 5 year old can beat him up. And the BEST LIE he could come up with was "my 5 year old beat me up because I asked him to?" He couldn't claim it was an adult?
comment in response to post
No, that was Nitro.
comment in response to post
Or, or... make him bi. Cause then he can still bang Marion and other folk. (I'm not biased, being bi myself, of course. Ahem.)
comment in response to post
Half right. It was part of what the slave states wanted to abuse to keep in power despite their voting population being miniscule. Yanno, cause most of them weren't seen as people.
comment in response to post
Has been for decades but the Conservatives knew they'd never win again if it were abolished so it turned into a "sacred part of American democracy." Cheat to Win.
comment in response to post
Oh, only ten years after they're buried. This is s cult. Reality doesn't matter in a cult.
comment in response to post
Sure, once we can find some Democrats with a spine and some Republicans with a conscience.

Meanwhile, in the land of delusion (or deliberate propaganda- it really is a 50/50 chance,) we have this clown.
comment in response to post
Yeah, it's been two months. We have to wait two years for that. Wanna take bets on Orange Caligula using the Insurrection Act that he's been trying to find an excuse for in that time? You don't get elections under martial law.
comment in response to post
Damn, you put it well. Mind if I use this in a few arguments I'm having on a regular basis elsewhere?
comment in response to post
I mean, if there IS a next election.
comment in response to post
We won't forget, but will we get a chance to do anything about it.
comment in response to post
"Before?" Yeah, got some news about that one.

ProtonMail is on the list.
