What the....!? I had heard about it, but dear god I thought for two seconds this was photoshopped from when Ukraine's leader visited. Truly mafia thug behavior and intimidation tactics.

NLOG was cute when I was naive. Now it's just a big red flag to ditch the dude.

Worst nightmare is picking up a romance novel and it's just a bunch of smut scenes loosely tied together by plot. Made worse if there are characters that I want murder in it.

Basically the person they possessed was more than the demon could handle in some way. In comedy, it's usually the possessed is extremely annoying. To the point that even a demon goes, "Nope. I cannot deal with this 24/7."

I think your DM is just really good at logic puzzles.

*Bangs head against a wall* Yep. That sounds exactly on brand for my fellow citizens. Add in the Zero understanding of how that's a losing battle with nature.

Oh, I have. They did a much better job explaining it, and I'm taking notes.

That's because there isn't a process. They're only suggestions because there are no plans to follow thru.

Fox is recounting his first time making a latte and how awful it was.

That explains Radish soooo much, and maybe a couple other dorky characters that I love.

Very broad stroke: Fox is being congratulated by Coco....for being nice? Hmmm. I'm trying to think of something other than the girlfriend route. The other thought is he managed to diplomatically have a problematic customer leave.

Basically a couple decades of Nazi/KKK takeover being accelerated because 1/3 of voters decided Harris would be "just as bad" and didn't vote.

Earth! Fire! Wind! Water! Heart! And with your powers combined, I am Captain Planet!

You're assuming people are paying attention when the most they observe is what phase it's in. Plus the average person doesn't need to use the moon to tell time. Plenty of observable phenomenon that people ignore because they don't need the knowledge.

Thus the reason to punch me. My brain would clearly need a reset so I can go back to reading books I do enjoy.
comment in response to post
The point is so I can avoid the books I know I won't like and satisfy my curiosity on why some people do like "classics." If I ever start the "I'm better for reading xyz," then somebody punch me. That's a level of elitism I don't need in my system.

Ah, I see. I'm the opposite I guess? I like understanding the reasons. Started because I had to know what people saw in Moby Dick. (Mandatory reading for school. Otherwise I would've dropped it like a hot potato.) It has helped me better my reading preferences too.
comment in response to post
You're not wrong, and therein lies the problem. Only a handful explain the reasons these books are considered classics. Which is a shame because understanding goes a long way into seeing a book's value even if you personally hated reading it.

Then once you have your safety net, then focus on what you can do. Don't try to tackle it all because there's way too much and you will go back to falling.

For me, it helped I was expecting half of this bs to happen. For you, I say take a couple days to separate yourself from the world and figure out your personal priorities first. What will help keep you sane. If need be, turn news off for day, week, however long ya need.

I say they just dusted off the playbook from his first term. The rest of the world leaders haven't had a chance to do so yet.

I went with Praying Mantis, probably a standard tenor saxophone (I think. Instrument terminology is not my forte.), and it's learning to play.

I have thought more than once that I should just shop in men's pants section and be done with women's. At least I can just measure myself and know what I need. (Or so I hope.)

Depending on the fabric, they'll slip down regardless. Especially if one is walking all day. Unless the waist band is elastic which tends to be in the women's section more than the men's.

They look elegant in their formals! Aand aww! Heather got a cute dress for her seal form!

I'll admit reading a couple Halrequin books as a teen colored my view, but thankfully I've learned some things about myself since. It has helped tremendously in understanding what *I* want from the genre vs *the general population.*

Tbf Crunchyroll doesn't control the episode count. That's on studios in Japan. Unless you mean their original shows like Tower of God.

I guess you were the Durge, and Deo was the Italian.

Unfortunately my only tip is patience. Especially if you're not using fast drying glue.

I remember loving the beginning, then slamming into a wall of text, and the rest was a slog to get thru. Unfortunately it was required reading and I had the wrong teacher for the book. Maybe I'll give it another go now that I understand why I hated it better and 20+ years have passed.
