There are actually a great many others to blame. Trump couldn’t do this nonsense without the complicity and compliance of his sycophants.

But lacking majorities or even parity in either house of Congress, what can they do? Something? Anything? What? I’m thinking his strongman stupidities could be his undoing, but that will take a while, during which we can only watch good stuff burn and too many good and needy suffer.

Yep, me too.

Yep! Take it at its source: the man who underscores POS in POTUS.

Who needs NTSB studying data, cockpit voice, ATC recordings, metallurgical & fuel tests, dispatch releases, flight plans, conducting expert witness, first responder interviews, examining logbooks, training records, medical examiner reports? Trump knows causation instantly - he’s got “common sense”.

Continued, perhaps pathological use of the F curse as defining term and altogether untempered characterization detracts from the appeal of this forum. There are more enlightened, mature and effective ways of supporting a cause, gaining attention, that don’t rely on gratuitous vulgarity.

A good man, CNN will be the less for his loss.

I choose listening to BBC, hoping for more news, less Trump - feeds my denial. As in, this didn’t, couldn’t have happened again.

How small, how dark and sad your world with “just evil” people - racists, child abusers even (!) - must be. I’ll be praying for you.

Gratuitous comments about God’s people being scum, your assertion He attracts evil. Unnecessary. Offensive. Guessing you’ve no concern they’ll be recalled at a certain gate on a future date.

If great-grandma isn’t black, Hispanic or woke, not to worry - she good.

Mace. Hegseth. RFK Jr. Bannon. Rudy. Trump. MTG. Gaetz. History will long remember a “land of the free” led by treacly toadies, a caricature, antilogy, of enlightened dignity, disgrace to discourse and principles proclaimed by the lady in the harbor. In only a decade we became an embarrassment.

That’s neat, really. The good you laudably do would be more laudable if approbation weren’t sought for doing it.

The more important challenge might be insurance companies finding the next, the best, mid-winter beach to whisk two weasel justices wetting whiskers, making millions at the public trough.

O’Leary, “Mr. Wonderful”. Not so much.

Many are helped, but you didn’t get it done. Out-of-pocket costs for covered drugs were capped. My insurer simply removed my expensive medication from its formulary of covered drugs. Profit over protection. Screwed again.

Highly developed nation? That ship sailed, sank, while we debated the wisdom of machine guns for children and forced motherhood before adolescence, hydrochloroquine and bleach for COVID and diphtheria. You’re aware of the irresponsible red hat rabble that were a majority for Trump in November?
comment in response to post
Specious. Why import terrorists when we’re oversupplied? And wait … was there expectation Junior would vet b.s. before posting?

Was he wearing a red hat?

Congrats! For so many years it seemed a Lion championship could only be in a distant universe - you guys deserve some joy. Maybe there’s hope for the Jets. I know, I know, just sayin’.

Okay, late to the part, fessing up. What’s a starter pack?

Dunno. I’m far from holier-than-though or above reproach, but FWIW, stealing doesn’t suggest the stuff of cool or smug.

Not in this life. I could never take Rodgers at all. And be careful where you take anti-vaxers .

Jimmy Carter set the bar high for humility and morality in service, notably in latter years for Habitat for Humanity.

Sponsor must: Pay prevailing wage or higher than employees of similar experience, qualifications. File Labor Condition Agreement w/ U.S. Dept of Labor. Pay $1710 USCIS, ACEIA fees. $2460 if employing more than 25 people. Prove financial stability. No stats avail on startups & H1B workers.

Valid points worth concern. H1B applicants are carefully selected, expensive, productive recruits corporations/foundations don’t casually discard. Qualified U.S. citizens are 1st choices. As of April ‘23, H1B’s are 1.3% of visa holders. This is a MAGA, Steve Bannon issue, (more heat than substance).

Nah, just intentionally blocking someone incapable of dialogue without gratuitous slight.
comment in response to post
H-1B workers aren’t indentured servants. If they’re mistreated they can go home or to another nation where they’ll be valued and respected. The U.S. - many U.S. companies and our nation in general - have prospered thanks to many foreign intellectually gifted.

Canada is, will remain independent. And Canada may not likely welcome hordes from a country where a majority just voted for a 21st century Hitler.

CNN has disappointed the last couple of years, but let’s think before blocking media cuz we disagree w/ coverage. Gonna be 4 dark years of fecal fascism. Throttling news outlets too early/often leaves FOX, Truth Social & X. We can influence Warner Bros-CNN, not bluff them. MSNBC’s not enough.

And if Miami beat Georgia Tech and Syracuse and if Alabama beat Arkansas and Oklahoma … and if aunts were otherwise equipped they’d be uncles. Cougars blew it against the Jayhawks. There’s next year.

My copay went up $4K yearly because of the new $2000 out of pocket Rx drug cap “on covered drugs”. Insurers decided to no longer cover my medication. How special! Thanks guys.

I suspect he has no friends, only sycophants and hangers-on. It must be somewhere between difficult and impossible for a person totally self-absorbed, for whom interactions are evaluated on metrics of self-aggrandizement, self-benefit, to nurture and savor friendships.
