Haha nah the worse kind of fix for this would be to just slap a thick wire across (would have said stack of pennies but that wouldn't work here)

I mean it is so noble to say you're against people raking in money.... UNTIL you're the one doing the raking. It's too good to give up for the vast majority.

It did, says "Available only on Nintendo Switch 2" right before it went back to the host.

Great move by Nintendo... this is actually huge for From Software fans.

I was going to try and think of a devil's advocate point to this... Honestly can't come up with any reason why... It's plain stupid, decided by stupid people who can't believe scientific data.

I kind of wish there's a younger Bernie that can be so brazen to help citizens that he can break the rules a bit to do so.

First off, why would they need Canadian eggs? Also do you know how tariffs work? Canadians don't CHARGE tariffs on Canadian eggs.

Hypocrisy only works if you have a sense of shame. Clearly they do not.

Yes, I agree there, but just saying the system itself causes you to lean towards a form of tribalism.
You sound be more informed of a voter. You should consider more than a single issue. Just that clearly people don't have time or desire to be engaged that way.

Honestly the whole idea of R v D is a reason why there's such division. It's like team sports, you register as say Lakers, you'll always support them regardless. Registering for a party itself starts this mess. How about just register as a voter instead of what party?

Congrats. Honestly I don't know how you do it with all the craziness with the political news these days. I think I would have gone insane long ago covering the stuff to the extent you do.

HILARIOUS! remember when gas guzzler trucks like to coal roll Teslas? Or deliberately block electric chargers? Now suddenly the left is "illegally" boycotting the company?

I mean, I was just looking at conservative board on Reddit for some other opinions... It's as hateful as you'd think. Saying stuff like colleges are corrupt taking government money, and schools are for learning not teacher's political views.
It's actually sad to see the amount of hate there.

I really hope that they platform just shrinks substantially that there's only right wingers left. I hardly go on these days, just hoping for more companies to start blue sky.

If there's still law around, subpoena the DOGE workers to see who's giving the orders. E-mails are digital paper trails.

Crazy, considering Canada by land mass is even bigger than USA. These people must not look at maps. But I've seen enough of those Jimmy Kimmel interviews that they really don't know much.

The idea of "conflicts of interests" are for people who understand shame. These people right now don't give a flying F about it, and what can you do about it? That's the worst part. How do you force people who don't care to play by the rules?

I have access to AI at work too but not mandated. It does help a bit when it comes to quickly learning something you didn't try before, but I'm with you on the skills side. I don't know how much I'll retain, or just going forward with heavy reliance on AI and no longer thinking myself.

Posters having to moderate simply takes too much effort, how many comments wells be made? And potentially old ones too? I just think context to someone's post is something good to have. Kind of like everyone in the family knows "that crazy uncle" might say crazy stuff you can ignore.

Personally what I think would be interesting is have AI on the platform itself gauge the kind of profile a person is. Confrontational, hostile, overly aggressive, etc, and label it somehow. Give context for readers who might see that person's response and go from there. Not everyone can spot a troll
