I talked about Lee and this song in my retro pick of the week last week! He played on Pink Floyd’s Run Like Hell and Brothers Johnson’s Strawberry Letter 23. I still have my vinyl copy of his great album Rit, co-produced by David Foster who also played keyboards on some songs.

Oh but the way I understand it, the three group members also played on the track.

Yes and that’s not him in the video. He never performed with the band. He went on to be a leader in mail order services.

2/2 So we recorded the show and Bill and The Musicman will count down this week's Top 10 in Toronto in 1964! You'll also hear Dar's This Week in Music History and Joseph Frezza's Album Classic feature.

Neil Tennant of Pet Shop Boys provided the vocal for this Bernard Sumner and Johnny Marr project track. He also provided it for this single, a part of the Cool World movie soundtrack. Electronic also has three terrific albums to check out. youtu.be/tUTJCIPsWwE?...

You’d think in these days that such an accident wouldn’t be possible. Clearly someone on board did not know what they were doing and lost control. Very sad indeed. I walked across thr bridge last May for the second time. www.thestar.com/news/world/u...

Rizzuto agreed to his play by play being used in the song but without any context and publicly regretted it later. Aside from that, a marvellous and unique song.

Do we need honestly another writer to "champion" the popularity of the songs of the casual listener??
