If they insist on going backwards in the timeline, there's entire decades of time between the TOS films and TNG to flesh out. Maybe they're worried about their trapunto collar budget 🤷🏻♂️

As a writer with a YouTube channel, my additional advice would be to NOT kill yourself creating content to keep up with the algorithm. Release videos in scheduled batches (like "seasons" of a TV show). Make sure you're making time for writing, life, and caring for your mental health.
